Memories....
This rings very true.
Back when I did my arabic A-level, I remember studying about two great poets who created some of the best poetry ever written, unfortunately they dedicated their poetic talents to deriding each other. Yet it was all very entertaining and educational, and I liked to think that behind all those words, they respected each other very much.
If I have an opinion about something, of course I think that it's the right one. But I am known to concede the point MANY times, I just the reputation of being the fierce argumentative type.. I don't think that I am.
And no, I'm not always right, Most of my thoughts are actually not that decisive, they're not a matter of life and death, and they're not day and light distinctions. They're opinions!
Hani,
Interesting Analogy .. but this (IMHO) is one side thinking everything they say is a holy revelation!
