I'm new at blogging and I'm so amazed at the number of bloggers there are. There's so many! It's not a bad thing, I'm just surprised. The idea of blogging has always been appealing to me and I've wanted to blog for a long time, but I never really knew what to write about. Qwaider encouraged me to blog and I can't believe how addictive it is. I'm afraid I'll turn into a compulsive blogger! hehe.. but seriously it's like the blogosphere sucks you in.
And so it made me wonder.. how come so many people blog? I'm sure that every blogger has many friends that he or she could easily discuss these various topics with, so why blog? Is it the need to discuss your views and opinions anonymously, where your true identity doesn't have to be revealed? Or is it that you don't want to limit yourself to the same people that you deal with on a daily basis? Wanting people of different backgrounds and beliefs? What is it?
I think the reason I blog is to vent. To share my thoughts with people other than the usual people I deal with in my daily life. To widen my horizons. I'm the kind of person that gets bored of interacting with the same people all the time. I like diversity. I like dealing with people of different backgrounds, lifestyles, beliefs, opinions, and experiences. I like meeting new people, and getting opinions from others on the same topic. I feel that everyone I meet has something to offer. He or she adds a piece to my knowledge or a piece to my life. I like it when people I meet leave a mark in my life. A memory, preferably a good one. But even if it's a bad one, it'll be an experience which I learn from, which helps me grow and affects who I am (hopefully for the better).
You'll get to see bits and pieces of who I am through what I write. And if anyone would like to say or ask me anything he or she is more than welcome. I'm sure I'll benefit from this blogging experience.
Now tell me, why do you blog? Why did you read my article?
Memories....
Ypu're like the good teacher at school everyone remembers, you managed to leave a mark in the bloglives of so many bloggers... you gave them some space on QP and your time to leave comments, that made all the difference, I hope you know that its appreciated...
I'm one of those bloggers, the guy you quoted is another one, I'm sure there are many more...
You're more like the "Blog Coach" in the "blogk" (and that's not a spelling mistake)...
welcome to the gang, enjoy the ride :)
Thanks, I really appreciate what you said. You really lifted my morale. That's why I blog. To interact with people. It's fun and very interesting

Thanks, but this isn't my first post. I've written a few before this one. Enjoy!
Step up to the world of fantasy.
Documentation. Documenting the crimes against Palestinians and Iraqis. And because when something pisses me off I like to write about it. Venting helps to ensure I don't punch someone in the face.
"Why did you read my article?"
Because the other fellow that blogs here gets boring to read after a while.
welcome to blogging land it does get addictive! and well it's a healthy way to let things of your chest as long as you don't offend anyone who reads your blog :P
