Plumbing!

Since I really hate august. Everything bad has to happen in this month. I have to keep that in mind (Sorry people who were born on this month or got married on this month).

This morning, my shower decided to call it quits. It got stuck on the HOT position! Now if it got stuck on OFF that would've been a good thing. But on HOT! dang!

Anyway, I ran out to the storage room, and turned off all the hot water supply to the house. Guess what, the shower was the highest one of the whole set. Why couldn't it be the first one from the bottom!?

Anyway, I decided to call a plumber until guys at work convinced me that tI can do it myself. so I thought. Yeah, I can do it my self. And THAT'S when I went wrong!

I went to Lowe's, got what I thought is needed and went home. While I was still removing the pliers from packing my razor sharp pocket knife slipped and hit my middle finger splitting it open!

Instinctively (or stupidly) I flicked my hand. As if that is going to remove the already bloody wound. And blood splashed all over the bathroom. I mean EVERYWHERE!

I left everything and grabbed my finger as it was bleeding. I already started feeling light headed, queasy and short breathed as I saw my blood running down the drain. So I applied some pressure to the wound and and kept it like that for like 20 minutes. Strangely, the wound started closing. But it's still throbbing and pulsating with pain

So, I will call a professional tomorrow. and Waste half a day at the clinique because I seriously think it needs stitches (the wound was around the finger and pieces of flesh were really apart from each other! This will leave a scar. I guarantee you! Anyway, to save $100 I ended up paying $70 in tools and what not, and will need a doctor's visit (thank god for insurance) AND still pay the $100 for the guy who's going to come and fix it!
