The first day...

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. There has been many like it, but this one is for me. This day may repeat every single morning. But no matter what happens. Today remain mine, yesterday is turned over and tomorrow is unfolding. I can never reach tomorrow before facing and conquering today.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life, I realize that there are borders to be moved, mountains to be climbed and oceans to be crossed. Yet I also realize that there is a lot of beautiful trees out there, roses to be smelled and fruits to be gathered. I realize that I couldn't have collected these fruits if I hadn't crossed the mountains, oceans, deserts and rivers to get here.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I declare that today is the day I march forward even more. Keeping all my imperfections behind, and conquering new ones. Discovering along the way who I am, and what I am. Getting closer to the point where I declare this new day, the king of all days that have passed, and the child of the days to come

There has been better days, there might be worse days. But for now today, is the first day of the rest of my life. And that's enough reason to celebrate..
