Back from vacation, need a vacation!

Lets face it. If you had fun on your vacation till the very last moment. Then chances are you will get back from it, needing another one! I already hate Mondays, but the Monday right after the vacation is the worst!

Well, OK, for all honesty. I had so much fun in Chicago, it was a nice fun city. Regardless of the few issues here and there. But I guess my nose grew numb and I couldn't smell that foul smell of downtown anymore

The city has amazing architecture. I was very happy to drive around and get lost in down town.

My trip to the Navy pier was awesome! I spent so much time goofing around, and playing in the water fountain. Then I was caught in HEAVY rain and got completely soaked! Forcing me to buy a "I love Chicago" shirt at the touristic price of $45. (for a shirt that's worth $5 tops!). But before that I had a chance to go on a cruise in Lake Michigan. It was fantastic! But too hot and humid!

Anyway, after getting ripped off. The IMAX was nice (for people who don't know what IMAX is, it's basically a HUGE theatre with the largest format of film available, the screen is as large as few stories (4 or 7 I can't remember). It's HUGE! And I watched Dinosaurs in full mind blowing 3-D it was awesome!

The coolest thing is that I got a call from a "friend" of the family. Apparently she heard that I'm in town from my mother, and extended a welcoming lunch gesture to come and eat stuffed grape leaves(wara2 dawali). I didn't know about these details. So I returned her call (because she called in the middle of the cruise)... UPDATE: More on this later

Anyway, I got to try a bunch of stuff there and all in all was happy in the trip. But was way happier to go home, and sleep on my wonderful fluffy bed!

of course it a fact..u always need a vacation after your vacation..this is why i have never gone to work(back in the days) right after my vacation...i always took one or two more days off to unwind and just sit home and relax before resuming with life..:)

o and i have been wanting to see an imax movie..we almost went in vancouver, wanted to see the lion one..but we didnt have enough time

It's funny how you once warned me before going there, saying that Chicago sux...and now you are saying how great it was to be there! I like that city...and it's amazing down town...it's just the weather there that annoys me...

Chicago does suck :) I still think so. But this time I had fun I guess .. but I would prefer to be in LA or Vegas, or San Francisco, or even sitting home. Than going to Chicago! In addition for the fact that it smells like sewage, I guess that's why they call it "the [windy] city" since it's probably the only city in the world that breaks wind!
