But if that guy was none religious at all, without a holy religion, then thats a problem.
Ya mr. Anonymous, can u plz elaborate on how it is over-rated? Or maybe u mean obeying Allah's order is over-rated?
Actually, many people argued regarding what makes a meat Halal. It may be allowed, but not completely Halal, if the slaughtering was done by a non-Muslim. But just like Kosher in Judaism, the person doing the slaughtering should be Muslim (male or female) and mention the name of god (Tathkyeh), and follow the rules to consider it 100% Halal.
Personally, I prefer slaughtered meat. I just mention the name of Allah when eating it but that's only because Halal meat here is inaccessible, expensive, hard to find and of very low quality since it doesn't follow the FDA guidelines.
I think that's what Anonymous was trying to say, I might be mistaken though
Some of them are real names (Amin EL Sharif) and I can take you to "Baqqalet el Amaneh" in Amman ... :)
Salam
I probably will, but if someone is going to eat it, i need to still bring stuff from that place
Mohammad
Tislam tislam ya rab .. Allah yis3edak 3ala hal da3weh el 7elweh!

Someone told me that Sam's Club meat is all Kosher certified. Which make it very close to Halal (better than Halal in my opinion)

That's so true, Halal has been transformed into brand recognition instead of the real thing. Which is to make sure that the animal wasn't slain in vain
Mohanned
It's too expensive elsewhere? Dakheel allah where do you live man! Over here it's twice as expensive and full of fat and bones.
As for "ta3am Ahl el kitab" that's Halal, and it's in Quran. (سورة المائدة)
The Islamic way of slaughtering sheep ... described precisely by Prophet Mohammad PBUH ... was recently proven as the most healthy way to kill an animal for its meat ...
the cutting of the main arteries and leaving the spinal cords intact leads to increasing of the heart pumping in order to compensate the lost blood pressure ... which eventually results in draining the vascular system from its blood ... the blood that is known to hold all the bacteria and alien objects that the body needs to get rid off. Which can cause some health concerns if it never leaves the body.
Makes sense right ??
That’s one thing … but taking advantage of that to rip off people ( as the Jordanian Islamic Bank does , who charges almost double the interest rate `source needed` ) is more Haram than eating not-Halal meat
I don't hesitate when I say religion –in many ways- is a business.
Thanx for the laugh.
No, the solution would be keeping on buying and selling religion in the form of meat, words, false hope. But isn't selling religion is haram in religion, or not? I don't know about that.. I mean, interest is riba and haram, but selling false hope isn't?
And a3ootho billah man, sho eating haram! Sheep slaughtered with infidel hands are haram! YUCK! And you won't catch anything from it!
Qwaider, which meat is more expensive halal or haram?
No, no .. No one is even remotely suggesting that. We wish there was a real Halal meat place here. A place to be proud of. Where the meat is as good as (or even better) the meat they get in other shops. Where the meat is subject to government and health code regulations.. Etc. At the end of the day, we want to eat, no fight with the butcher :)

Actually, almost all meat is slaughtered (hence the name "Slaughter house")
Now, slaughtered doesn't mean Thabi7a(Zabiha) or more precisely, Halal Slaughtered. Because the pillar of that is to "mention the name of god" and follow few humane rituals while slaughtering to ease the pain.
When slaughtering, they usually drain all the blood (here and everywhere in the world) to sell it to the cosmetics companies that turn it around and sell it for a hundred times more as cosmetics.
Anyway, to Muslims, Halal is best, then comes Kosher, then everything else. (although, technically, Kosher is better than halal since it follows stricter rules that I agree with, with the exception of the gender of the person slaughtering)
As I said, almost all meat is slaughtered [mechanically for chicken]. And blood drained. But people over here, exaggerate in their stance making life really hard for everyone!
Halal is way more expensive with lower quality at times. (Which is the opposite of what it should be)
Take an animal of the same quality, age and condition. The Halal slaughtered one "should" be better
But many people take religion to turn it into a business... Its even mentioned in the Quran in Surat el Baqara:"فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَـذَا مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ لِيَشْتَرُواْ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ "
To be honest though, I think halal is overated, now I have access to a car, yeah it is so much easier to buy halal (no more anaemia!)... but if anyone were to ask me, I dont think that buying non halal meat in the UK is such a biggie... especially when access to halal is often hindered, due to travel considerations.
LOL at your post there :p buying non-halal halal meat :)
This is great, I cannot stop laughing.. May God be with you real brothers.
