Even though, today was supposed to be a happy day. As a major milestone in a "side" project that I'm working on (but very important one). The project was announced a major success against all odds as "Mission impossible: Accomplished". Yet, it was a sad day for me!

I have no idea why sad thoughts kept trickling through my overcrowded (or under-crowded) skull of mine. And No matter what I did, they would just not go away anywhere!

First I had this problem with my folks, and the issue of "You should have got married when you had the chance" surfaced again, in an ugly way this time. As somehow marriage become so pertinent! I guess there is no escaping that!

Then two access points that I recently purchased turned out to be such bad products that rendered them useless. The worse part is that I called the sales line and asked SPECIFICALLY for the feature and they said "Sure" and when I got it, it turned out to not support it! And what's worse they enjoy stupefying people who really know what they're talking about when they're really completely ignorant in what I was talking about! I'm NOT ARROGANT! I just know what I want and expect people to know the crap that they sell!

Anyway, in the third trip to Fry's, I threw Buffalo Tech routers in their face and got DLINK. Got it home, installed, 5 minutes later I WAS UP and RUNNING and doing EXACTLY what I needed! PERFECTLY!

Then I turned to my 3G router. This is a very interesting router (I'm writing this post through it) The coolest thing about this router is that it takes WIFI on one side, and 3G GSM on the other! The result? A mobile Access point that you can keep in the trunk of your car! And have Wifi wherever you like! And guess what? The manual was 18 pages long! While the configuration interface needed few hundred pages to explain it! It's completely MAD!

Quite frankly? This has been the most difficult access point I've EVER touched in my life and I quite practically tested every single one out there!! But I think it's worth it! I can't wait to try it in my car tomorrow!

Finally, Red Rose closed her blog! Making me feel worse.

I'm so sad ... My family and related matters took the greatest toll on me... I guess I am just trying to keep my self busy! To escape the sad realities I'm living through ...

I'm still hopeful for a brighter tomorrow!
