Guess what turned out to be a National duty!

This is certainly the first time I receive election spam. I guess some genius suggested spam to the desperate candidate to reach a larger audience.

This would have all gone unnoticed and I would have probably just deleted it without paying any attention to it. But this one was different. It had couple of items that caught my attention. Urgency, and duty.

I fail to see when did the election of someone who's a member of IAF has turned to becoming a duty. The test hinted that this is not only a civil duty, but rather a holy religious duty. Not less than praying or pilgrimage.

It's interesting to see how terms like patriotism, reform, change and society have been thrown loosely in there. With some select words from verses from the Quran.

Then they threw in a list of why it's a religious duty to support this candidate;

• Because it's an advice and therefore there's mandatory and encouraged islamically
• Because it's participating in the Democratic process
• Because it's choosing the best representative (funny, this sort of contradicts with mandatory obligatory duty)
• Because it choosing a strong person with integrity (remember Moses story?)

And a bunch of other very shimmering cliches!

If this person was the only one in the present, I wouldn't vote for him, just for spamming me
