In every relationship the thing that would destroy every possible hope for it to survive is emotional cancer, once it sets in and metastasise there is no going back. That relationship is doomed, and n chemo therapy in the world can save it anymore. That cancer is called, discontentment
It doesn't matter who has it in what relationship. Once it's there, it's there! It's that thing that is hard to get around, no matter how hard you try. It will always be there staring you in the eye.
A man might discover that he's discontent with his wife, and might decide to engage in an affair or worse. Same is the case with a wife, he might wake up one day to discover that she's not content with what she has
Due to the nature of relationships in our part of the world, and how the male is expected to be the head of the household, and the primary bread winner it puzzles me the behavior of some women when they feel that the man is unable to keep up with their ever increasing demands. They start feeling this discontent.
The minute these women start looking at others, and how someone else got something they don't have. This discontent starts settling in even more.
If you add on top of that the lies of people on how wonderful or marvellous their devil is (since, it's a human trait to polish whatever we have compared to other's. Mothers do it all the time, when they polish their sons or daughters). At this point discontent is dug so deep to the point it can never be removed
Just like a malignant cancer, getting the terminal patient closer and closer and closer to it's grave, until all that is left is mercy bullet to put this relationship to eternal rest.
I can't help but wonder, how many women have actually divorced their billionaire husband, no matter how bad of a man he was. It appears that wealth helps with these symptoms. Many opting to live a loveless, disrespectful marriage than actually moving on. Even worse they would know about their wealthy husbands extracurricular activities, and just turn a blind eye to everything.
It's funny how some women sell their souls to a "sugar daddy". While women who gets in a relationship for love and when discontent sets in, the first thing to be sacrificed is ... love!
I think what I'm trying to say is that love without resources has a higher risk of suffering of malignant discontent, than wealth ...I guess, wealth is a good antioxidant!
Memories....
It seems that women-need-wealth connection is here again, though. Do you really think women are so obsessed? Maybe I need to introduce you to some of my friends!
القناعة كنز لا يفنى
What makes us happy, what maintains and grow love is CONTENT! Money may push discontent away for a while. But money can't make us content with what we have, with our loved ones.
I am not sure if it is love that gives us content or is it our contented nature that helps us LOVE!
