This post is anti-gadget. Or lets just say, anti-stupid gadgets

There are awesome products in this world but there are also .... well .. not that great products. Or at least people are not using them the way they're supposed to (To make their life easier) They're using them to show off ... and that's seriously, NOT COOL!

Your bluetooth headset on your head, when you're NOT TALKING is a waste of advertising space on that head of yours. What are you trying to prove? That you have money to buy bluetooth headsets!? For god's sake, last time I checked they were running for $19.99. A pair of converse shoes are worth 3 times as much! Not to mention, YET ANOTHER device to leave overnight on the night stand, charging! And when you travel, YET another transformer to lug around!

Or are you trying to show that you know how to hook up bluetooth because it... oooh sooo technically sophisticated on a genius like you with a PhD from MIT can do it

Wake up, showing off about bluetooth headsets is so 2001! These are NOT hot items, these are not state of the art or futuristic, and these sure as hell don't make you look better!

Use it when you need it, IN THE CAR, When you have your hands full. Or at least when you have a phone call! It's not a piece of jewelry! And that STUPID blinking light in a dark movie theater, while people are trying to watch the movie is annoying AS HELL!

If you ever had the urge to buy one of those FULL Keyboards for your phone or PDA, take it from me. Don't!

It's like trying to see a 2mm letter from the distance of 1 Meter (considering that you have 1 meter long hands) with the naked eye. Unless you really have amazing vision, chances are, you will see nothing! So you bump up the font size to be able to see it, and now you can barely see one full word on the line! And maybe 4 words in the whole page!

Oh, and try to do that while driving!

Finally, if you're going to make a product, please, don't ship it with shit-brown color (I think this is the very first time I use this word in an article, but I guess this is the only time it actually is used descriptively)

Microsoft, WHAT were you thinking!? Yes, I know it's far superior to the IPod -technically- but ... shit-brown!!? Gimme a break!

Like you said, people aren't making use of technology, people want to pay money to show off.

People have MP3 players in their cell phones, yet they pay 200 JDz for iPODs ! lol

They also have cameras integrated in their cell phones ( 3 MP cameras and more..) yet they pay 250 JD for digital cameras (4 MP) and they're not professional photographers anyway.

Hehehe… why do you hate those bluetooth headset that much? :D .. well I don’t like as much either, but it doesn’t bother me .. but in your case I guess it’s the movies that pisses you off :)

Now for Abed:
Abed.. having mp3 player on your phone is TOOOOOOOOOOTALLY different than having IPod.. I’ve tried both.. and maaaaaaaaaaan the quality of the music is just amazing, there is nothing like it.. the phone is so freakin LOW… besides that, my cellphone takes up to 30 to 40 songs , IPod can take up to 1000 songs… it’s NOT the same :)

Gosh, the idiots wearing these stupid contraptions are just asking for it! I sometimes feel that they're talking to them selves! The problem is that I KNOW they're a shift supervisor at Burger King! No one, important, is going to ever call you.

my boss uses the bluetooth headset all the time. looooooooool. and you know what else? he wears sunshades (oaklys or smth, don't even know if i spelled it right) when it's very cloudy and there's almost no sun to protect your eyes from.
i guess these things give people the illusion of empowerment.

i used an anony-mouse identity so that my fellow colleagues (among whom are the boss' suck ups) who are all such fans of jordanian bloggers won't use this against me. sorry Q.

المظاهر الكذابة ذبحتنا يا رجل بس مع هيك بتحس حالك بتنفخ بقربة مخزوقة يعني لو ضليت تحكي للصبح ما حدا راح يسمعك
اساساً البلوتوث انا شخصياً بعتبر استعمالها بياخة اذا ما كان في سبب مقنع مثل انك تكون سايق مثلاً اما انك تكون عم تتمشى او قاعد و لما يرن التلفون تحكي عن طريق البلوتوث اي والله برادة .. بس في ناس بيعملوها و انت بتبسط عليهم لانهم بصيروا مثل الكركوز بيحكي و بشبِّر بإيديه و بصيح صياح لانو بكون مقتنع انو اذا مش ماسك التلفون بإيدو معناتو الطرف المقابل مش راح يسمعوا :)

I kinda have to say that I dont agree with you regarding the bluetooth thing. Even though I, personally, dont use it, but I think it is very important nowadays. Mobile phones are getting bigger year after year and annoying to be held in hand while talking. Thats one. Two, some mobiles like the imate are usually put inside a protection cover hanged on the belt, so it is difficult to answer phone calls each time.

I agree with you regarding the color, but naaaah, its Microsoft :) What did you expect? ;)
