Rated 4.5/5 stars (152 votes cast) Thanks for your vote!

Wouldn't it be awesome to look into the future, rewind it, repeat what ever mistake that you've done until you get it PERFECT? Every time?... This is what the movie is about ... One of sci-fi's classical stories and bot is it entertaining!

8.0/10 on the Qwaider Scale, this movie is awesome and extremely entertaining

Do you even remember the last time Nicholas Cage was ina good movie? I can't. After seeing the horrible piece of junk called Ghost rider, I completely forget everything he did. That piece of junk erased anything good I had for him... until, now

He completely redeems himself with Next and does a fantastic job at it! But I still think he's too old for Jessica Biel. She's blossoming into a beautiful butterfly. But I think she's losing hair (so is Cage). But that's only me.

    next2

Based on a story by Philip K Dick (the guy who also wrote Minority Report, and the amazing Blade Runner), one of the "big boys" of classical sci-fi in my humble opinion.

The story is about a low budget magician (Frank Cadillac) who has an amazing little talent. He can see the future. The catch is, if you see the future, it changes, just by you seeing it. And that changes everything... pretty neat, and resembles some ideas in Quantum mechanics, but I'm not going to get into that.

So the story continues as the FBI  agent (Julianne Moore) seek out this man to find the location of a Nuclear warhead that was smuggled into LA (By some French terrorists) (Why french? I have no idea).

    next3

The terrorists manage to get Cadillac's girlfriend in an effort to get to him. While he struggles with the torture devices of the FBI to force him to unwillingly cooperate

The effects are simple and amazing at the same time. The movie has a couple of Bollywood moments, which turn out to be completely not as you think they are. The whole thing is fast paced edge of your seat entertaining. Did I mention that there are so many scenes that are just so awe inspiring? You will find yourself saying "WOW" seconds before she says wow! But that's the little romantic inside me talking. I'll shush him now

If you want my advice on a good action movie, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this movie. It does have few "The butterfly effect" moments. Because the ideas are similar in nature. But, Frank Cadillac sees the future, not the past.

Movie opens in the US, tomorrow the 27th

    Who-sane,
The movie is awesome too.. Seriously worth watching. For sci-fi and non-scifi fans alike ... it has a lot of action and is very entertaining

He has his good sides. But that scene of him kissing Jessica Biel made me feel sick. He's seriously too old for her.
