    Memories....

lol, believe me you don't know half of it : ) Allah yehdeena, if a woman does not have a strong sense of religion or privacy she will fall pray to this stupidity ! I for one cannot understand how women in general don't have a sense of privacy if nothing else.

oh God..that addition part is so "strong"...you can tell how happy he is.

    nice post and very true.

and if the lady refuses to share her private life with the other ladies, they will push her away...so sick.
akeed most of the "nammameen" are ladies.. some like to show off and tease each other, who has the better husband or so on.. 2ellet 3a2el sara7a..o 2ellet deen.
True! And it's usually 7aki fadi, (kalam farigh, not our 7aki fadi).

I'm particularly impressed with your Arabic writing skills Qwaider, keep it up! :-)

I thought that you would be heavily criticized about the post since most of your readers seem to be female, but scrolling down, I guess I am wrong!
I am still going to go with any stereotyping is wrong ideal. Those characteristics go both ways and they are usually obvious in the person. If you knew that about them and knew it bothered you so much, why marry them? Why hang around with that type of people?
Seriously.. I never thought I would say this in my whole life… but I HATE it, it makes other people so uncomfortable.. bellah 3aleakom what’s the point??? Ana bs nefsi a3raf.
The worst part would be meeting the husband.. wleeeeeeeeeeeee with all the crap she said about him what am I suppose to do???
This one the things I like about guys actually.. “ma benemmo” well fi exceptions bs mostly they don’t.. el wa7as bedal raso merta7 o howi ma3ahom o el aham ma beksab zonoob :)

Very true, I really dont understand how they think even if they are sometimes smart, I dont understand whats the logic that they use, its strange, by the way I noticed that all of the above comments by females, as I said strange logic!!! thats why most of them going to hell

    Peace
Haytham, you mean most women are going to hell because they are inconsistant, or because they talk a lot??. Not that I am with women talking about their home secrets, but if that is the reason why you think most women are going to hell, then what about men?.. yeah, men might not talk, but they damn do sin in other ways, and believe me, their sins are wayyyyy bigger than women sins!! (this is only a reactionary comment to Haytham.. my intention is not to stereotype men)
Kol masayebna mn wara el neswan!!
Ay walko ento nazaltoona mn el janneh, bas el 7ag mesh 3leko, el 7ag 3lena mahabeel o bnsema3lko:D
    LOL!!!
    I don't like where this is heading .... :)
Alright, we're crazy to follow women, but who's the "wise" guy who dares go the other way!? He'll die lonely, in a room that smells of used socks and armpits!

I like how everyone is "Brushing the accusation" away from themselves..... Oooh, we hate people who do it .... Ooh, we don't like people who dare it ... if everyone is so much against it ... then WHO THE Hell is doing it!!!??
    lol Mohannad.

So Q, how do you know that the niswan talk about these things? Do you praticipate in these convesations? lol isgheereh
Woohoo, this is a topic!! I think is is incredibly disrespectful to discuss sexual intimacy about a husband in a group. None of my friends do, and neither do I. When I am with other women and the subject gets this way, I either shut it down or leave.

BUT...compare this to what men talk about in the barber shop, and there is NO COMPARISON! My husband finally found a salon where that kind of talk isn't common.
Now Kinzi, you are speaking! Yeah, men might not talk about their wives, but would rather talk about everybody else's wife, or let's say everyother female other than his wife (and sisters, nieces,.. etc)?? Good for your husband, I can not imagine what kind of talk he was trying to escape... hmmm... you know what,I think I can, and also think I can imagine how dirty that could be. So there is also a duty men should carry towards women. Men should guard themselves, and their tongues when talking about females.

"I like how everyone is "Brushing the accusation" away from themselves..... Oooh, we hate people who do it .... Ooh, we don't like people who dare it ... if everyone is so much against it ... then WHO THE Hell is doing it!!!?? "

Looooooooool, the other people : ) besides the lady bloggers are the cream de la cream you cannot expect every one to be like us : )
OK... I'm getting a different picture about what "kalam niswaan" means

I thought it refers to women talking about everything and some secrets in the families and about other people..... by the way men do that A LOT.

But if it's sexual intimacy... oh my God, I can never imagine myself living with a women who can do that. I heard a few men who I barely know talk about their sexual lives with their wives to me and others, I TOTALLY lost respect for them.
Secratea, thanks! Yes, thanks be to God my husband is a very honorable man and doesn't want the words or the images of other women in his head (as I don't of other men!)

Yes, you get his point, the men in that barber shop talk about every female they SEE! Then they get so animated with the details the haircuts get a little shorter than intended due to the wildly flying scissors!
    7aki Faظi
I know because I love to follow up on these things :) I have my ways :D

    Kinzi
I'm glad you were able to read it. This one just had to be spiced with Arabic language :)
I'm glad that we agree that it shouldn't be discussed, alas, many do. And it ruins their image and that of their significant other considerably
Men don't talk about their wives AT ALL, at the shop or else where. They do however talk about other people's wives :) but they're equal to women on that front.

    Secratea
As I was saying, men do talk about other people's wives, and women that are not related. But so does women. And if I want to be fair, I would say as much as women do. Although someone is going to disagree and say men or women do it more

    Tamara
I don't think this is the case, yes, everyone around here is the refind sugar of the society, but does this mean that many don't practice that? I'm sure many do. But IT'S NOT THEM, it's THOSE bad people

    Hareega
Yes, men and women talk about OTHER people's issues, I agree. But about their own domestic issues.... I think women do that way more

    Kinzi#2
You're either TOO lucky, or you enjoy hearing what you want to hear :)

tayeb im here again, to drive u all nuts ;)

just something i learnt sometime during my "thirty, yes thirty" years on earth, when it comes to woman-man issues, there is almost always a misconception... i just want to draw your attention to the fact that the majority of women in our countries (for so long) has been home keepers, THAT probably aided them in becoming talkative, wel kalam bejor kalam... now that women go to work, i swear to god i know men who talk more than a dozen women 3ala ba3adhom :) wel kalam bejor shaghlat thanieh!
