Waitress (2007)

Finally, a good comedy worth that is worth watching. But, this movie goes way beyond the foolish, idiotic comedy that we normally have. This is my favorite type of comedy, Dark Comedy. Yes, it's VERY funny, but we're laughing at people's misery in a weird way. It is as hilarious as it is tragic at times.

And the movie achieves a respectable and very deserving 9.0/10 on the Qwaider Scale

The story is about a talented waitress (Janna) who makes amazing pies at the place she works at. It's about her and the most important three men in her life. Her husband, her doctor, and the owner of the diner

The Husband, is an obnoxious ill mannered pig that managed to get her drunk and she ended up pregnant with an unwanted child. Because for as far as she could remember, she wanted to leave that loser who takes all her money, and demands disgusting treats. He takes all her money and beats her up at times if she disagrees

The second important man in her life is her doctor. Who's a caring young man. Unfortunately, things don't go as they're supposed to. It's just like finding your soul-mate right after you got married to someone you hate and you're pregnant with his child!

The third important man in her life is the mean old diner owner, Joe. Joe is the meanest, most controlling, demanding old man you can find. Boasting about all his money and wealth and makes everyone feel like cockroaches in-front of him. After all he controls all their fates. But, that's not the end of it, you have to watch the movie to find out

Janna has her dream to enter a pie making contest, she visualizes everything in the world as a pie. And names them conveniently after incidents that happen in her life. "Killing my bastard husband pie" or "Falling in love pie" or even "I don't want to carry Earls baby pie".

The movie is very funny. Burst-your-sides-of-laughter funny, yes, in a very dark mean way. It should make it to the top of your must watch list for this year. Trust me, you'll absolutely love it!
