Disturbia (2007)

Finally, a teen movie that is really worth watching. Consider it, Home Alone vs Hannibal. This movie is captivating, fast paced and totally worth watching.

And earns a respectable 8.0/10 on the Qwaider scale

 This movie ushers in a new era for Shia LaBeouf, known for his amazing work on TV series Even Steven. He also starred in Bobby. The story of Robert Kennedy's assassination as an intern who gets high. But so damn funny and convincing

The good thing about this movie is that it's fast paced, keeps you interested, it just doesn't fail to get you in the mood and to remain in the mood

The beginning of the movie was so shocking, so shocking to the "Final Destination" level. Seriously it's that shocking. It's like what "The lookout" tried to do but didn't really deliver.

So Shia is stuck under home arrest and out of sheer boredom and after his mother cuts his iTunes, and XBOX live accounts he ends up being the neighborhood stalker.

The girl next door moves in, and she's a god send (for stalkers), she sunbaths on the roof top, goes to the pool in her bikini and best of all, changes her cloths in front of the window. A little distraction is the neighbour who occasionally invites girls over and brutally murders them. But don't let that bother your enjoyment of teen flesh sunbathing on the roof!

Hmm, alright, this is not exactly how I wanted this to sound like but boy and girl join forces with his smart Asian friend. To nail the evil neighbor who starts hitting on the boys mother too.

Anyway, the story is really great, the development is fantastic, the climax is at the right point and the ending is great. Which is straight text book, back to the basics, good start, good ending, and good stuff in the middle. One of the movies that you will definitely like with no reservation.
