Even if you can do this for one month ONLY, make sure you make the best of it. Windows users get to Laugh this month at Mac users who have been slammed with 45 security patches in ONE MONTH! Talk about security huh?

Alright, Usually, windows gets the lion's share of bashing for Security this, security that. Few boast their security and robustness "cuz they're running a Mac". Well, guess what, March was BRUTAL for Mac.

In January, Microsoft launched their latest and greatest (yet to be seen) Operating System Windows Vista. And while Microsoft got no new vulnerabilities in January, the issues were RAINING on Mac's. According to Analysts, around 1 a day! Ouch!

This is just a proof that, "Nothing, is secure". Not your Mac, not your Linux, Not even your old Atari. If it ticks, someone will find a way to abuse it. Plain and simple.

The biggest threat is still Social Engineering. No matter what the software manufacturers will do, it will always be there. The weakest link. The Human

Being all fair, I would argue that Windows have been patching and fixing things for .... well ever! How come this is so big of a deal?

Well, as the author of the article on Softpedia said and I quote: "There is simply too much arrogance in Mac users, a behavior condoned and shared by Apple as a company." And here I am, rubbing it in, if only for one month :)

Anyway, Windows users, rejoice, Mac users, get a taste of it, and oh, also, get used to it

Some one here hates MAC and Linux!! :@

No matter how hard M$ tries, windows will never ever in a million years, be more secure than linux! DUDE, Linux's structure and handling is the thing that makes linux more secure than Windows! I read that Windows has as much as 60000 viruses, whereas Linux only has about 50, that's more than 1000 Viruses for Windows to 1 virus for Linux! Some might say that Windows has more viruses because it has a bigger market share, and is more widely spread, but Linux has a bigger market share than 1:1000 Windows PCs!

I'm not defending anyone here, bas inno GIMME A BREAK!!:P Bi7igilhom la l Windows users inno yerta7o marra, and the other side should feel how the never-endingly-loosing side feel! lol!! :P

No body here hates Mac, it's a nice toy! I play with it from time to time. It's cute. Can't do much work on it though.

Now regarding Security, don't be fooled with the false sense of security. Nothing is secure. It's not a matter of "if" it's a matter of "when". The surface of vulnerabilities have barely been scratched for linux and let me tell you. It doesn't look good.
Almost all security analysts warn that there will be issues. Once Linux collects enough critical mass to be a target, it WILL be a target.

The illusion of security is exactly like the illusion of "Free".

As for me, I don't side with anyone against anyone else. I don't promote one over the other. I'm just a little bit fair(er) to everyone.
