Well, over the past few days as many have noticed I've been busy with my friend and his family visiting from Saudi, and Lebanon. It was such a fantastic time well spent in what I can consider the closest I got to a family in this part of the world

Yes, sure, I have my biological family in Amman and I love them and miss them so much. Last time they visited here was in 2004

So I spent a good bunch of time with my friend, and his family and it was such a good time, well spent.

These are the little pleasures that we miss in the west, a time to enjoy in the company of people we like, feel related to or even share something together. Not the self righteous people around us living in their 1 mile high ivory towers thinking of nothing but showing off, showing off their cars, their wives, their houses and even showing off their religion

Yes, that is right, many love to just show off how religious they are as if it's a competition with prizes. As if people decide their fate.

If you're an Arab, many also like to show off how much their child is unable to say a single word in Arabic. God, how sad is that!

Anyway, let me go back to my good vibes out of this past week experience which I spent with friends. Going to restaurants, movies, parks, views and shopping ... God I love shopping with friends .. it's so much fun

Anyway, back to the dull life ... cabaret-home-cabaret-home...
