Yes, you heard it right, A REAL blog roll this time! (Also new favicon, sticky comments and more)

    blogroll

As most of you know, the code behind this blog is a work in progress. so I'm continuously adding new features.

So recently, I came across a dilemma! How do I have a blogroll, without having to enter every single site out there as a link. It's inefficient and consumes too much time

Then came "Blogrolling.com" a free service that provides what I was looking for, a centralized location for storing my stuff.

Alright, that was a piece of cake, but as with everything I do, NOTHING goes as planned and the minute I got the code on my page it SUCKED! Big time! back to scratching head!

So I go through their FAQ's and notice an interesting article, on using server side PHP! I think to myself, hmm, that could be handy!.... Oh wait... I'm using ASP! God dang it, nothing comes for free.

Anyway, I take a glance at the code and I know exactly what I need to do, grab the location of the script, request it from the server, and push it to the client [YOU] browser. Simple, right? WORNG!

Apparently they wrap the text in so much of their crap! after writing a tool to dump the result of their script I figure it out. Strip some of thier tags and Presto ... We have a blog roll :), even better yet, it's all centralized on their server (hmmm I'm already starting to not like the idea of "their" server, I should probably make my own)

These are times where I think to myself "Why oh why didn't I take the BLUE freaking pill and went with something ready made like WordPress, blogger or Blogspot. But for a hard-core dude like me, that's cheating.

take the blue pill, damn it

Comments? Complaints? regrets? 7asheesh? I wanna hear from you (Oh the comment field below should fill all your information by default, I also had to write that)

Also, notice the new favicon :)

And remember to vote for me people, it's only 2 clicks away! Just look at the upper right corner, click absolutely and you're done! c'mon!
