OH MY GOD! This is THE BEST male-female social movie I've EVER seen IN MY LIFE! This is just a jaw dropping performance and it's so fast paced and riveting although it didn't have a single ounce of action in it. But it sure is FASCINATING! This movie was hitting the nail on the head for me.
10/10 on the Qwaider Scale. Warning, this movie is rated IQ in other words For SMART men and women ONLY. [This is the ultimate chick-flick, yet guys will absolutely love it]
The story is about a guy who is in love with his girlfriend and about to pop the big question, only to come home on Valentine's day to find her stuff packed and she has left him. Same night, his friends show up and the story picks up from there....
Alright. THIS is the type of social/relationship/comedy that I LOVE! It's fast, it's witty, it's smart, it's romantic and it will teach you a thing or two on relationship. While you listen to some AMAZING tunes being played during the movie ... it really scores high on the soundtrack
Remember those girls from the Gilmore girls talking at 100 words per minute dialogue? Add some real sense of humor, remove the mind numbness coldness and the monotone, Multiply their rate of speech by 10, and stretch it to a feature length and you get half the amount of script in this movie! I mean it's packed with jokes, social critique, amazing funny ideas and wonderful flow and plot
I was half asleep when I walked into the theatre, but once this movie started I was at the edge of my seat, trying to capture EVERY WORD, and understand EVERY JOKE, if you're not fast enough, you'll not get it, and you will not laugh. Oops? You laughed, you missed 3 jokes during that time!
I'm telling you, this movie is THE ULTIMATE relationship/comedy I've ever seen in my life. It's independent, and low budget. But I just can't believe how much talent is put into it. It's Just one fantastic movie.
Careful, it's rated R for adults AND is NOT office morale event friendly.
I would go as far as saying I would buy this one on DVD to see it over and over and over ... since I'm positive that I missed tons of stuff during the times I was in tears laughing..

On other news, I saw "Pride" (opens march 23rd)
It was inspiring and uplifting, and I sympathised so much with the team and their struggle against Racist America in the late 60's and early 70's. And how the black community triumphed at the end winning civil rights. And the ability to practice and participate in sport events. However, the movie was predictable and kind of slow paced. But is still a good movie to watch and I recommend it with a respectable 7.5/10 on the Qwaider scale
Memories....
So take it back or I won’t watch the movie :)
