Love probably means accepting the other party unconditionally. Not only accepting but being able to accept AND allow access to certain parts of your body, mind, and soul that you would NEVER allow anyone else (including family and friends) access to

There's that weird thing about Love. Suddenly all barriers dissolve, everything becomes fine, and OK. No matter how dangerous/harmful/foolish/blind/painful it is. People in love just don't see it

The interesting thing is that, barriers like Shame, disgust totally evaporate in the face of love. They suddenly don't mean anything. And While you may tolerate lover's blowing their nose, or even offer to do it for them and not feel disgusted at all. You would be very annoyed and disgusted by anyone else doing it next to you

You might hate some one's bad breath, but some person, male or female you wouldn't mind not only tolerating the smell but even kissing it and it feels like the best thing you have ever tasted, despite the couple of rice grains that ended up in your mouth

That's seriously one side of love that really puzzles me, how do we allow ourselves to allow, accept, understand and absorb things that we would NEVER ever under any circumstances accept from anyone else...

This explains a lot by the way, it doesn't explain love, but a side effect of it. It explains how mom's change diapers for their babies and kiss them at the same time. They don't even feel disgusted or upset about it. It explains why men and women can perform many disgusting/crazy/painful acts just because they're in love

I guess the flip side is also true, when someone stops being able to tolerate someone else, and starts seeing them as disgusting and inexcusable.... I guess that signals the end of love...

    Memories....

    Good Post,
I'm always intrigued by human behavior, Love might be the most intriguing behavior of all, Love is a decision of selflessness, it's a result of a series of observations..physical and mental, in which we reach the conclusion that we find familirity in a person, and that we would like to have that person be part of our lives because we think they're fit to be part of our lives..and in order to have them..we have to give them..so concessions like the ones u mentioned and more are made without even thinking about them..because we dont see that person as a different entity..they're us..in a different body..when we see them..we see us, everything else in the world is alien.
love creates miracles. some of these miracles accepting the person you are in love anyway they are...no matter how disgusting they may seem to others!! ya3ni, whoever said that "el 7ob A3ma" is right. As much as sensitive a person in love is, this person loses all their senses and common sense and think only one way of the other person..that this person is ALL THAT!!!

I disagree on the last two lines..
    totally!!!!
love can never flip nor end..
But it takes a different position at some point..when a lover doubts that he/she is being loved..or that it has a path to go to..some maybe hurting deeply to force themselves with fire and iron to just stop accepting..
Once you love..really love..there's no turning back...the lover would always be the baby who we happily blow it's nose and wipe it's ass while kissing it's lovable cheek.

Love is what makes you take down all the masks and just be YOU. Smile, laugh, cry, or even be a pain in the ass... it doesn't really matter! It's what makes you show the real 'you' and be accepted and loved in whatever condition, state, or mood you're in!

And I do believe that the flip side is true,-as you mentioned- no matter how much love you can have for someone, there might come a time, when you'd see them as disgusting!

    lovely post :)

i believe that when u r in love, then u and ur lover become one person(soul), would u be disgusted by urself...NO...that is it...when u love someone that someone becomes as precious as urself to YOU....i guess that is how i see it...i used to look at me and see things i do to my husband, and wonder, whould i have done it in any other way if i am not  in love with him...dunno the answer yet...but all these barriers we put for strangers, or other ppl simply disappear and we act out of love...i even thought of changing my son's diaper and wonder "have i ever thougth that one day i will be able to change dirty one for a baby????"....thanx summer, yeah love is blind...
    peace...
once my friend told me that she didn't like the smell of the guy she was in love with and dating at the time. Honestly, there was nothing about his smell, but not fully aware of herself, she was not truely in love with him. Hence, a couple of months after that, they broke up! Anyways, what I meant to say here is that yes, part of loving a person is that you naturally accept things that you would never accept from any other person. Once that connection happens, it never break!
