It's quite amusing to read some reports on the capture of a spy here, a murderer or a thief. And all of a sudden the story becomes more interesting. The person turns out to be the devil reincarnated

A sad story of a spy that has been caught by the Egyptian intelligence (yes the same one that was incompetent to know anything about the preemptive strike from Israel in 1967 in the Six day war and a million other incursions on all possible levels)

So anyway, without bashing anyone or accusing anyone of anything. The so called spy who, (a) left his country, (b) got recruited by the Mossad, (c) converted from Islam, (d) betrayed his country men in Canada, (e) Accepted money from the Mossad for his treachery, (f) Betrayed his country. But what was the most disturbing and absolutely irrelevant was that this person turned out to be (g) Gay!

I know that in the Arab and Muslim world that is considered an unforgivable abomination. But from the western view it's acceptable, tolerated and considered a personal matter. Not even worthy of being mentioned.

This use of these issues as a form of slander is not new. I remember the stories when someone wants to show that a man is bad they would add that he doesn't even worry about the honor of his female family members.

It's laughable that someone accused of high treason facing the death penalty, with all the details mentioned about that matter. Is also found to be gay. How did anyone even find time to make him confess of such an irrelevant piece of trivial information. It's weird that they didn't find him guilty of stealing bubble gum from the local supermarket. And yeah, he probably popped the balloons of couple of young kids. That is just pathetic to say the least!

Even in the movies, books and most fiction, no one is portraying the enemy as pure evil. Even the dreaded Darth Vader in Star Wars had a little good in him left. Silas the murderer in Dan Brown's Davin Ci code had good in him and was misguided.

If fiction is way more believable than the stories where it was established that even the most evil of villains had either a reason, a justification, or some good left in them.

It's really annoying when anyone insults the intelligence of the masses portraying their enemies as the ultimate evil just to prove a point.

So next time someone time someone deviates from the point by sending trivial insulting personal information about someone ... Just make sure you're wary of it

they have to make it perfect crime...that is it for them, which reminds me of the joke of 10 syrians who wanted to join the intelligence, the first test was to catch a donkey who was set free ahead of them, after awhile 9 of them showed up unsuccessful, then they looked for the tenth guy, they found him in an ally torturing a rabbit saying "confess u r a donkey, yalllah!!!"...it is not funny, but showing the reality of our justice systems....
    no offense...
    peace
