For the past couple of weeks, it's been the same thing happening over and over, people just repeating and repeating the same old "interesting" information

I just started to feel frustrated that I read something in the news, then I hear bloggers go on and on and on about the same piece of news. Not even modified or anything. humph!

So first Iman writes about eternal brace of the 5000 year old grave with two people in what appear to be an embrace, then I see it in 4 or 5 different other places

Then there was this "grew up in the 80's and 90's in Jordan" who was first posted by Nido, then everyone saw fit to post the "funny" stuff that they have admittedly received by mail

Roba writes about the Kuwaiti photographer who collaborated with Microsoft to produce some of the Windows Vista breathtaking background wall paper. Then Moey posted about it, and I'm sure others will ...

Then there's the story of Anna Nicole smith, Summer was first to the market ... then Zenobia ... and I'm sure more are on the way.

Then Khaled posts about JB meeting, followed by Shaden, but at least this is an announcement .. it doesn't hurt to spread the word

I'm just not sure why I'm frustrated with this whole matter. Some told me that I'm taking blogging to seriously, other said I spend too much doing it .. yada yada yada

But one thing is certain, If I'm able to follow up the same story from 16 blogs, then I'm definitely spending too much time doing it Laughing

PS, This is not to bash or critisize anyone, just something I noticed

I write about things that interest me ... things that I would like to recollect say 5, 10 years down the road ... I pointed out something that news reports didn't ... and that was the possibility of it being 'suicide' due to its overly romantic state ... :d
I'm all for redundance. Indeed that is often the only way to get mainstream media to tackle particular issues/subjects.
I agree with you qwaider. However, bloggers have the right to write whatever, and copy and paste whatever. it is a basic freedom of speech. that's said, you, bloggers, better be original if you want your blogs read and enjoyed. I think that some people think that they are the only ones with an email account, and, therefore, they see the urge to inform the rest of us of  the interesting email the have just gotten. well, honestly, I believe that it is rude to repeat what has been said already. not because of not giving credit, but for insulting the intelligence of readers.
Q man, this comment has nothing to do with the subject, I saw the new feature u added "Recent Visitors" Hey :D I like it.. Impressive and creative as usual :) .. keep it up my friend ;)
Yes I think you are taking blogging tooooo seriously….Maybe Moey didn't check Roba's blog before he wrote his post so he didn't know that she already wrote about it.

On the other hand, maybe some bloggers don't know about the others…not everyone knows everyone else in the Eworld….

I think blogging is fun…and the rules should minimized…we are entertaining ourselves that’s all…
Sure, you are allowed to consider it the way you like it ... what ever makes you happy :)
And along the same lines, I get to say what I think, call it as I see it, and take it as seriously as I like :) cool huh?
i did not read the replies to this post, but i agree with you about the repeated subjects!!
i think next time i will have to discuss my posts with you before i write them and seek your premission!!!( here i am taking things personally-again!!)
Summer, you broke the story first!! I'm sticking out my neck for you!!!!!!!!!!
I know you are, but if i had been the second one to write about it (God forbid!!) i would have been even more hurt by your post!! really....that is why i check your planet first to know what to write about!! :)
    :) Q tawel balak .. :P

thank god i havenot worked on my blog yet...things seem tough out there...yeah samer, u r right, i noticed that all blogs i visit have same thing talking about...that is why i decided to visit one or two at most...same old samo...
ann nicle smith... i feel sorry for the baby...haram....sah summer???
    chill out all...
    peace
I feel sorry for the baby the most. She didn't just leave ... she left the baby not knowing who it's father is! How sad! Is it really that "close" that she can't tell who the father is? Being sexual active and all!
And sense when do MEN fight over the custody of babies!!!!!!!!!? It's usually the other way around, men running from the custody while the mothers are trying everything they can to force them to acknowledge their own flesh and blood!
    3ishna oo shofna!
Just proves how money changes everything.

a blogging watchdog committee is set up on the jordanian blogosphere so as to make sure that no one blogger discusses an issue that another blogger has already discussed.

the watchdog committee will of course enforce so called 'originality' laws that meet a particular originality standard set by its leader.

redundancy thus becomes a sin and the committee will eventually become power happy and end up censoring all those who even dare discuss a single issue from their own perspective.

conflicts over timings and who posted first will be settled by a simple "i called it". topical stories will be divided amongst bloggers on a first come first served basis.

this will lead to a secondary watchdog committee to keep watch on the first watchdog committee just to make sure that by wiping out redundancy they are not thus making room for the monopolization of topics.

Hence bloggers, fearing their opinions have gone unrealized will form a union to fight for their right to blog whatever they damn well please.

strikes and boycotts will spread the country side.

    and when the revolution comes...

    no one will be spared
LOL Nas, Yeah .. I vote YES on that notion. ;-)

If anyone wants to post something, make sure it's 100% original

[God I AM keeping up with way too many blogs]
"grew up in the 80's and 90's! this post is wherever..I don't like to copy post forwarded mails..AT ALL..I wanted to post about forwarded mails "I hate them!" stop sending me forwrded mail,I don't have time or interest to read repeated info. copy paste from the internet,I wonder about people who keep sending you 8 forwarded mail a day at least! old info. kaman! they don't have something unless sending forwared mails! I send it to rubbish without checking it.
    walahi 3endak wejhet nazar!
