This above discussion, just seems to keep popping up a little too often. What's up with people!!? Can anyone forget their mother tongue like that in 6 months! (sometimes less)! I just can't believe it!

I happen to know some Arab Americans that were born and raised here.... And still don't have this selective amnesia...

la! ok, ur spoken language can get rusty if ur are used to onversing in another language... but understanding the language, or not, is a whole other level!
