Over the course of few months, I've been called all sort of things, and as I sip my coffee I had to come to realizations that I might not just be what I think I am or what one group thinks of me. I do find my self gravitating towards a huge number of subjects having specific thoughts and ideas and most importantly - to me, being opinionated about all of these. One thing no one has disagreed upon, I do have courage in voicing my opinions in ways that borders harsh rudeness at times and craziness at times. Leading me to apologize after discovering and agreeing that I might have erred on several occasions. But the good side is that these didn't happen often

Yes, it's true, I'm a backward, forward, literate, ignorant thinker.

I jump to conclusions and generalizations and I give deep thought to ideas.

I'm pro and against Hijab, niqab, shorts skirts, long skirts, short hair, long hair, breast implants, liposuction, premarital relations and conventional marriage

I'm a feminist and anti-women.

Love and hate the Arabic culture, love and hate the western culture. Fascinated and impressed by the Arabic culture and equally as appalled and unimpressed about it at the same time

I love and hate me being away from my homeland. I totally loved and hated being back for vacation

I also might be with women's liberation and imprisonment at the same time.

I'm a wise guru and a little foolish kid.

I'm an over/under achiever, an angel a devil a saint and a criminal, pro science pro religion right wing left wing center confused free thinker android. Good at following disobeying understanding missing all orders. I'm a decent misbehaving ill-mannered good/ bad/ evil/ talented/ impatient/ reluctant/ swift person

Yes, you see, I'm human, and the very bipolar nature of that comes contradictions. So why exactly am I saying all these weird things?

People fail to understand that every specific incident is worthy of decisions specifically tailored for it. No two incidents are a like and there is never a single right answer, or a single wrong answer or sometimes trivial unrelated answers. Many situations no matter how alike they might seem have absolutely different outcomes when the very same steps are followed. Weird, but the world is a non causal system. It would have been a much simpler existence if it just followed the rules .. all the time

No matter how we rationalize matters they could never be put in a strong formula format where inputs and outputs are always calculated. No matter how hard we dive into something we will always miss some constant on either side of an equation

So there you have it, I'm at the end .... human.. nothing more ... nothing less

very nice post once a similar subject came to mind .... how we try to show that we r good and nice and always agree and try to hide our deep bad habits or thought ... don't ask me how i found it relevant :D

human I'd say we all are including yourself dude. But the description that you portray above, and the discussions, the contradictions etc, - personally, I reckon they're all random thoughts written mainly to provoke reactions and thoughts. In each matter that I reckon you've confused people in your orientation of thinking, behaviour or whatever it maybe, I'd say you're searching for an answer.

Be patient dude, - life is not a gloom. One morning, one day, you'll wake up and see a straight line that you'd be able to define yourself with.

hmmmm, well, the point is, we're all human, we're all alike or the same in a way, and yet, we're very different... the question is, what makes this human who he/she is, what makes "you" special and unique... i guess it's the way u think, the way u behave and act... ur simply the result of mixing various ingredients... such as the family u were raised in, ur situation, ur childhood friends, movies u've watched, songs, games and toys, accedents, incidents, death, birth, school, uni, work, places u lived in, places u've been to, people u met, people u worked with, books u've read, what kind of education u had, and above all that, the way ur mind accepted all these things and related them with each other, the way ur mind reacts, and the way it functions and thinks... it's like baking a cake... and ur brain is the oven...
u r who u r because of "who" and "what" u r :) and u r unique, because it's a very unique mixture that was used to make u the person u currently r... (ana 3am batfalsaf, sorry, but this is much more fun than studying equations ;)

Well .. the first phrase that popped up in my mind Qwaider after reading this post was " 7alet enfesam rasmi" :) .. I am only saying what was the first thought ..

We all have contradictions , but usually , we favor one side over the other , which is why there are matters , even if they pope into our minds , we still hang by the other matters we prefer ..

But I guess contradiction is anotehr reflection to the word human on so many shiny surfaces !

I didn't call myself simsim, a certain lady(ies) found me cute (no matter how odd that is) and started calling me Simsim. Those damn Lebanese chicks has their way with cute words! And ever since, chicks who dig me call me simsim!
