An article by my good friend Bakkouz, where he posted a list by "Mistress Lisa" regarding Female supremacy. I have to say, that I would like to demystify some points. Mainly because I believe in the equality and complimentary parts of the sexes. Ill try to be objective and give you my take on this

    My take in Blue...

    • Whatever a man can do, a woman can do, usually as well or better. The reverse is not true.

Not true, this is a subjective/emotional statement and not really related to any substantiated fact

    • Women have better language and communication skills.

Not true, Women often times say yes, when they mean No, say NO when they mean Yes, and resort to insinuation to give a point, and fail to directly state their intentions openly

    • Women have better senses (smell, touch, taste, and sight).

Not true, Women love the courtship of males, when they are rougher, and look less appealing than women. On the other hand, Men enjoy women who tend to be better sights, and smell better

    • Women tolerate pain the best.

Since there are no documented cases of male pregnancies, this is known to be the only matter where women actually tolerate pain. On all other cases, it appears that men tolerate pain more. But, I will give this to women nonetheless

    • Pound for pound, women are stronger

Not true, world weightlifting record for men who weigh 69kg is 197kg for women weighing 75kg it is 152. A clear advantage for men

    • Women can withstand more g forces.

True, this is because the distance between a woman's heart and her brain is shorter than that of a Man. Or in other words, because women are generally shorter

    • Women, as a rule, eat healthier.

Not true, subjective and depends on the local

    • Women have more power over the opposite sex.

And this is an advantage, how exactly?

    • Women tend to have more success in small businesses.

Not sure about this one, it's possible

    • Women tend to have greater flexibility and endurance.

Flexibility, maybe, Endurance, I doubt it. Marathons prove this beyond any shadow of a doubt

    • Studies show women do better in memory tests

Not sure about this one, but it's possible. Definitely explains why women remember bad things about their partners when they shouldn't. But as a fact, in the Elephant society, where they have a female matriarch, who remembers amazingly routes that have not seen in tens of years

    • Women are making better managers, directors and CEO’s.

Not true, the fact is, more CEO's and managers today are men. And I personally would like to see more women take on more leadership positions. Diversity is a very healthy thing for everyone

    • Women use more areas of their brain.

Not true, the person who used most of his brain was Einstein and he only used 11% of his brain.
The second fact is that the Male brain is larger than the female brain, but it's not a matter of volume.

    • Women have better intuition.

This is an urban legend. Can't be proven either way.

    • Women are more psychic than men. (I can attest to that)

If you believe in this, you're already at a disadvantage, regardless if you're male or female

    • Women are biological superior (and complex). Less susceptible to certain diseases and they live longer.

This can be taken in two different ways. More complex means has more problems. Women don't have specific diseases, but tend to have their own set of issues. Like breast and cervical cancers in addition to a full branch in medicine for feminine matters.

    • Women have taken over higher education too. Many more women are graduating and getting degrees than men.

This is great, Women really do need to pursue higher education. I totally believe in this

    • Women are taking over the world : business, Internet, Sports, Science, Purchasing (expert shoppers), Sex, everything, including the men in their lives.

      Subjective statement.

    • Women can juggle more tasks at once than men. men tend to do one thing then move onto the next. Women do multiple things at once and get them all done. (They even explained this in a business video shown to all employees at my job)

Another subjective statement. This is not very true

    • Girls mature faster than boys, from potty training to emotional development.

True, but the minute males and females hit puberty, men skyrocket in everything. However, maturity is a different matter.

    • In the United Kingdom, girls in school are excelling in ALL subjects over boys, including math, science, English, etc.

      Subjective, and I doubt substantiated.

    • Though most people don’t know it due to us being in a male dominated society, Women were actually the ones who created the earliest methods of written language, agriculture, architecture, wheeled vehicles, medicine and more. (This fact and information on ancient goddess worshipping societies is documented in the book “When god was a Woman” and is backed up by archaeological evidence found at Catal Huyuk, the oldest known community. Unfortunately it has been hidden by our patriarchal society.)

Not entirely accurate, Some, paganist societies did have female goddesses, but that's not the rue. I have read some books that state similar claims, but many experts were skeptic at best

    • Women are less violent than men. Over 95% of the people in prison are men. ON the whole, Women are more mature and rational. Women should be in charge of this world not the more violent gender. Imagine listening to the news or reading a paper without hearing about a crime from a male. The world would be a more peaceful place.

True, but 100% of their crimes are female related :)
Maturity and rationalism are two different aspects. And granted that many men never achieve maturity, and that's quite rare for women.

I hope people don't take that I'm against women, I'm more pro logic and thinking positively. Rather than following word of mouth and totally unsubstantiated claims

    Memories....

    I'll be back Qwaider..;)
i am going to be nitpicking here, whatever i dont pick on means that i either agree or don't have enough info to add on to it
Whatever a man can do, a woman can do, usually as well or better. The reverse is not true.
actually its more diverged its true both ways, men tend to do better in logic and spatial problems than women, while women tend to do better in verbal and emotional intelligence

Women have better language and communication skills.
this one is actually true they tend to know more words than men, hence that could lead to better communication but fact of the matter is i dont think they utilize it

    Women have better intuition.
thats tricky since they have better emotional intelligence they tend to pick up on emotions much easier than men do, coupled with a better memory and that could lead to the intuition thing (IMHO)

In the United Kingdom, girls in school are excelling in ALL subjects over boys, including math, science, English, etc.
that statement is actually true, but then again you can generalize from a single study

anyways am not sure why i replied after all might as well made a post lol sorry
You know, I wanted to talk more about "can do better" part, but I prefer not to say anything, because I totally think no one is better than the other.
The best designers, chefs ..etc are actually men, but that's not an indication that the average John will be better than Jane.
Anyway, I just think we all need to be logical and objective about matters.
(Quite frankly, I think the original post was meant as a joke)

I have to diagree with you on this Qwaider. I think it's right. I have read it somewhere that the way the female brain is structured allows it to function in parallel tasks, while men's brains function sequentially, meaning that they concentrate on one thing at a time. But this is not necessiarily adisadvantage for men, because they concentrate more on the one thing they are doing.. To better understand this look at this example: In accounting related positions, especially senior and very complicated, where concentrating and accuracy is very important you find that men tend to secceed more tha women, while a PR position, when it's all about tiny details that have to be followed up all together, it's more probably to find a female shine.

Of course I fully agree with BamBam

Oops, I didn't know u turned comment moderation on! How about deleting this one and the one begore? Just keep the priginal!! Does this mean you have been having problems with comments unwanted?
Actually Reem, your comment came from an IP that has been previously been identified as spam. Nothing is lost, :)

Now allow me to answer the original comment you left. That idea is completely unsubstantiated, except by rumors ...
Actually, a lot of points you're trying to answer have studies that lend a level of support to them, yet you call them as outright subjecive statements. The one about juggling tasks effectively is one of them.
care to present some of them? Otherwise, they remain under "rumor", "Word of mouth" and "urban legend" if not even just hocus pocus!

There are many areas of research that not only validate Female Superiority, but prove it in black-and-white.  "Might makes right" has been an idea males have enjoyed using for centuries to justify their influence, but it's also perhaps important to note their status of the stronger sex makes them prone to being sacrificed for labor and war. Again, Warren Farrell's book fleshes that out quite well.

Science is about discovering truths about our universe which can be tested and verified conclusively. Thus far science has revealed that women are genetically more complicated—and complete—than men, as well as less prone to genetic diseases, have more advanced nervous systems, and so on. This is what the objective facts reveal. That is why good science is so wonderful; it is objective.

While science may be full of objective facts, the scientists themselves are not at all passionless robots in their observations or feelings. I will let a few individuals speak for themselves. Take from these snippets what you may.

"Males are wilting away.... From sperm count to social status, and from fertilization to death, as civilization advances those who bear Y chromosomes are in relative decline."

""Oh no!" I can hear you say, "Not superior, but equal, partners, complementary, different, but not superior. What an idea!" Men will mostly smile, while women, alarmed, will rush to the defense of men as women always have and always will."

    David Bainbridge
    Reproductive Biologist
Author, The Natural Superiority of Women

"Outside the segments devoted to the small tasks of manhood, most of the y is filled with decay. It has degenerated because it abjures the messy business of sex."

"Males are, in many ways, parasites upon their partners. Their interests are to persuade the other party to invest in reproduction, while doing as little as they can themselves."

    Steve Jones
    Geneticist, Author

Girls, not boys, come out wired for mutual gazing. Girls do not experience the testosterone surge in utero that shrinks the centers for communication, observation and processing of emotion, so their potential to develop skills in these areas are better than boys'."

    Louann Brizendine
    Neuropsychiatrist, Author

"Originally the Y-chromosome was a perfectly respectable chromosome, but its fate was sealed when it took on the mantle of creating males."

"Are the male trademarks of greed, aggression and promiscuity genetically based?"

    Bryan Sykes
    Geneticist, Author

The Female has two XX chromsomes, the male has one X chromosome and a smaller Y. The XX more than 1,000 genes and 160 million base pairs of DNA. The Y chromosome - 78 genes, 23 million DNA subunits. Over an extensive period of time, the Y chromosome has been slowly degrading.

Of course, there's plenty of factual and empirical observations supporting the collective social and maternal importance of Females, too. But nevermind that for now. I'm curious to know what a scientist has to say about the above statements. If you don't nessessarily feel like refuting them, then I can only conclude you just don't like the subject in general.

By the way, here are some supporitng books worthy of a gander for more information. Nothing refuting the holocaust. I promise. :)

Oh, and Females Are Mosaics is a good read, too.

Regarding the tendency for males to be more prone to genetic diseases: this arises from an error on the X chromosome, which causes disease when there is no corresponding X chromosome with a good gene in a pair. But as we know, men are XY. A man with the bad gene on the X chromosome often gets the disease, as there is no second X chromosome. Women have a second good X chromosome which suppresses the bad X gene, leaving them disease-free, but as carriers. Males cannot be carriers, as they do not have the benefit of protection from a second X.

You can read more about male mortality here, for a start.

No one can deny the male is a derivative of the female template (why do men have nipples?). That is scientific fact. No one can deny Women are more genetically complex than men (XX vs. Xy chromosomes). No one can deny men are more prone to a number of diseases, and Women usually outlive men by an average of seven years. No one can deny Women bear the most vital sexual organs. No one can deny the main hub for emotion and memory formation is usually larger in a woman's brain. No one can deny Women have a higher pain tolerance than men. No one can deny Women generally have better sensory ability than men. No one can deny that on average, Women are healthier than men of their own age.

All the above stands aside of certain social truths that are evident enough if one takes the time. I invite people to read The Myth of Male Power, by Warren Farrell, a former NOW board member, to start.

Links regarding the Female being the original default template:

More updated data indicates that if SRY, the male determinnig gene, does not intervene during a critical window in development, the cells will default to the ovarian pathway. Femaleness results from the absence of any masculinizing genetic factor or hormone acting during the critical period of differentiation. This is why the embryo before sex differentiation is often referred often to as "proto-female".

This is why parthenogenesis is a reproductive option among Females in some parts of the animal world, and possibly ours too, in the near future—but only with the help of technology, as it doesn't ocurr naturally in mammals, I believe.

"In Females Are Mosaics, Barbara Migeon makes a very strong case that women are superior to men in coping with disease and the environment. This is because they have two types of cells in all their organs, each with one of the two X chromosomes genetically active and the other essentially silent." —NEJM

To recap, I have cited numerous books, articles, and data illustrating my points / facts / theories, all from reputable sources (unless you'd like to call Harvard Press, Springer Publishing, FBI statistics, state health services reports and various books written by recognized authors in the field useless).
