So I'm at the Nissan dealership waiting room while my car gets a some yummy synthetic oil and tires rotated ...etc ..etc ..etc So I decided to do what? Add a cool new feature to Memories documented :). Where did people come from! This is awesome not only because it shows people where people are linking to a specific article but better yet, it's a free promotion to people linking to me! now is there any better way to say "Thank you" to the wonderful people linking to a specific article?

    r

Patrick, if you're reading, this is a cool feature for you to have

Now, only people to be able to read these are going to be registered users. Why? To prevent referer poisoning. Which is: People adding fake referer to promote their sites. But Who knows I might open it for everyone (yes Referer with one "r")

The cool thing about this, is that I don't have to go anywhere to see who links to a specific article. And while this is a cool feature. as long as it's not open yet for public it's success is going to be limited.

If you're not interested in signing up. You don't have to. I might decide I want to open it anyway and see how things go.

Gosh ... how long does it take to finish the goddamn oil change!

Qwaider, this isnt a nice feature.. this should stay in the admin panel
Why not? I find it very valuable. People getting link-backs when they link. Ultimate reward if you ask me... and free for them. They do absolutely nothing to get it
Additionally it's totally out of the way
Anyway, I'm only experimenting with it right now. I just coded it in 5 minutes while I was waiting for my car to get ready. I'll see it's advantages/disadvantages when I do some analysis of how things are in couple of weeks. Stay tuned :)
then i should visit your site from MY blog!!
Summer, I believe that that is the whole idea. Ya3ni you would place a link for his article in your blog, and then when people click on it, your blog would get added at the "Came from" links.
