First of all i'd like to give a short defination for "Achilles heel" expression.

Achilles was the son of Thetis and Peleus, the bravest hero in the Trojan war, according to Greek mythology.
When Achilles was born, his mother, Thetis, tried to make him immortal by dipping him in the river Styx. As she immersed him, she held him by one heel and forgot to dip him a second time so the heel she held could get wet too. Therefore, the place where she held him remained untouched by the magic water of the Styx and that part stayed mortal or vulnerable.

    Achilles

To this day, any weak point is called an “Achilles’ heel”.

Everyone of us dear readers has an Achilles' heel in diffrent ways.It has not to be massive charecteristic; it could be simple matter but it is a problem for you, annoying you or feel embarassed with it.

For instance, there are many people scared from heights or sleeping in dark room. I think the first step is to face yourself with your Achilles' heel, don't worry how it would be simple just be frank & clear with yourself then all could be better.

Then flashback your past, from where you did get this problem, why you consider it one of your week points, what you did do actually to go over it ,or you keep ignore it & convencing yourself that it's nothing and you're perfect to let this small issue being problem in your life.

Achilles' heel could be also challenge in your life, it reveals how much you can be honest with yourself to recognize it or how much you have selfcourage to stand at miror and critisize what you do not like in 'YOU" it could be features in your character or physical matters.

At my childhood i have funny Achilles' heel, I was fond of pencils or pens. I do not know why,but without being aware of this already i kept students' pens or pencils it's something related to my subconscious i guess. Now at work i quit this habit somehow, you know now i have to be charged for hidden pens or pencils ;).

Another cute Achilles heel was my very short hair, the grocery always nominate me Rami!! My mum used to cut it off for me, maybe it's easier for washing, then i decided no more short hair, and i did it, i have no short hair anymore, bye bye Rami..

Also, when i was 5-year- Pampers (yes Pampers, i do not promote here),was making me problem,i used to buy it for my baby brother, i was crying when mum asked me to buy it! i don't know how to pronounce it! it was Parpars!!and the shopkeeper started exclaiming "shu bidek ya 3ami walla mu fahem 3aleki!!" PARPARS!!, i refused to let mum write it on paper cause the shopkeeper will think i am stupid kid who does not know how to pronounce Parpars ;)

Actually, there are many stories, they were problems for me but now when i remember them they are sweet memories..

Currently, I am trying to go over another Achilles heel and i am doing well,it's avoiding connecting with eyes in presentations or when talking front of strange people who keep gazing & staring, you know that right? the sitiuation is improved by the time i think it needs practise also.

So, anyone would like to share us his or her Achilles heel ;)?

    Red Rose..

    Memories....

I have this weird fear of small repetitive looking objects. I have no idea what it is. But it gives me the creeps!
