Alright, this one is REAL folks. It's not the creation of someone, it is real

    Allah on the Tuna

The message says: "والله خير الرازقين" or "God is the greates provider"

    But ....

First of all, I would like to say, that I have a very strong and deep belief in the Almighty. I have no doubts what so ever. I'm a devout Muslim and I pray. Now with that said I do have many reservations towards matters like this

Allah, the almighty, gave us so many things to think and contemplate about. The creation of the universe, the amazing perfection not only spatially, but also temporally. Everything happens in an amazing sequence, everything follows cosmic rules and it never goes astray. These are true miracles that we often pass by everyday, and still not catch our attention or the media.

The fact is, there are three philosophical questions that no one can answer, no matter how much we try, we can't answer these three very simple questions:

    1. Why and How did the universe come to exist (before the big bang!)
    2. Why and How did life develop on earth (yeah everything was ready, but WHY, what made those elemental molecules develop life?)
    3. Why and how did intelligence, self awareness and consciousness spawn out of life?

There are other minor ones like why do we exist, where did we come from, what happens after death, and are we alone but I'll not get into those for now.

Ironically, these are the very same questions that humans have been asking since the dawn of history, with no answers what so ever!

But God, doesn't need a fish with his signature on it to prove to us he exists. He doesn't need a tree that looks like someone praying to mean anything! These are just coincidences in Nature. With billions of trees, and gazillion fish in the oceans, every possible shape will most likely be present on anything that has an accumulation of something. Just like your computer screen, it's a matrix of dots, you supply some energy to it and it shows a shape, if you supply random energy, it will show a random shape. If you continue to randomly turn pixels on and off forever, then every possible shape you can imagine will be there.

I saw, Faith is just like that, a matter of, well, faith. You need to look deep in your soul and find it. Sure many things help, but a Tuna, is not the answer!

I say, give the poor fisherman who caught this fish few thousand dollars, it might be the reason he got it in the first place, then give the tuna to someone hungry. This tuna might be this guy's lucky tuna that made him rich. In that, it becomes REALLY a gift from God

    Memories....

"..But God, doesn't need a fish with his signature on it to prove to us he exists." Very well said, I do agree with you, This is really like the case when all that mayhem regarding the cartoons published in the danish newspaper was at its peak, there was a call for muslims to fast on thursday and pray so that god would punish the offenders, that pissed me off a great deal, i mean, are we getting really that ignorant? Does God need our prayers to know what is going on? God knows everything that is going on, and if he wanted to punish someone he wont need or wait for our prayers to do it! Also God wont destroy denmark just becuase we prayed for it? if that was the case we would have won each and every war we've been in just by prayer! since when do we ask God to fight our wars for us? Even the prophet Mohammad peace be upon him did not resort to prayer to win wars, even though he could just ask God to destroy his enemies, his wish would have been granted, but he didn't, he fought with his sword. Sorry i swayed off the subject for a bit here, i just wanted to point out how some people can think in a really silly way sometimes, i know they might not know it or they do it out of good will, but for Gods sake, use your brains people! :) Thank you and God bless.
Well bakkouz, ranting aside. We do believe in the power of prayer (although recent study showed that prayer doesn't work). But again, we pray because WE need god. Not the other way around.
But I agree with you. People who ask god to fight their wars are doomed to lose. That's why our prophet said "اعقلها وتوكل" or in English "tie the camel and ask gods assistance" to indicate that we should do the diligence at our assignments but seek the help from god to finish them.
And no my friend, Thank [YOU] for stopping by
Absoutely, don't get me wrong, i did't mean that we should not pray! not at all! we must, be we simply should not rely on prayer alone to fulfil our wishes. that is all :)

    Very interesting thought Qwaider.

Muslims seems to be so obsessed with shapes and figures that reflects miracles. Some times, I think they need to convince them selves with any possible way that god do exists; sadly most of us are Muslims because we were born to be, not because we are true believers.

Back to Bakkouss comment, I dont think we should pray for destruction under any circumstances, we need to pray for forgiveness and guidance.

When the Profit was tortured by the people of طائف ,he could have prayed for there destruction, and God would have answered his prayers?

But did he do that? No he prayed for them to be guided to Islam and to be forgiven.

    That is the true Islam!

I agree that its not the tuna (U dont need the tuna to be have faith)
If u wanna believe u would see signs everwhere to make you be a believer
Whereas an ignorant person would not see even the most clear signs
    ((وفي أنفسكم أفلا تبصرون))
    وفي كل شيء له أية
    تدل على أنه الواحد
However, u have to get this straight, there is no such thing called coincidence
When Allah want something to happen it happens, and when He doesnt want it to happen it would never happen.
