Jamal Abd El Nasser is one of the greatest leaders, as well as Che Guevara. W 6ab3an who tops them is Izz El Deen El Qassam.

i'm not quite sure about Hassan Nassrallah being equal to these great political figures.

I just have one question, are they in for the sake of Lebanon?

    omar
Hi Qwaider , I dont think that any Arab leader or figure from the past or present should be called a great leaders... Nasrallah is better than tan the rest of the current Arab leaders.

No one can top Che because he lived and died trying to give birth for revolutions across the developing South American and African countries.

I don't see the resemblance, sorry.
As an Arab nation we tend to worship people, not ideas and concepts. I guess great leaders do exist, but there will always be the element of the people's will, and whether these men truly represented their people or not - which is what counts in my opinion.

    Leaders die, should ideas too?
I think that we are living in George Orwell's 1984 because we still believes in leaders ... are we that blind . Cant we change our present to a better future , we should control our destiny. Why do we still believe in portraits of leaders esp those who we praise as god-figures . Then if we lose a battle we blame it on God because he wasnt on our side , and he didnt sent the angels to fight with us.

I hate seeing ppl still living in the delusions on the past. lets forget all those glory days of the arabs and look forward for a better future.
Forgive me for not seeing the resemblence here ya Qwaider :S
Omar, Yes my friend. That's exactly what I'm getting at.
Legal Alien and Rami, Folks, if ideas had faces these would be them. They have spearheaded the ideas of Revolution, resistance, support of the needy, help spread Justice and fighting back the ugly war machine. Sacrificing everything on the way.
Spekkie and Khalidah, first, we don't worship people, We leave that for people with brown noses who warship the dwarfs that rule them. Making them closer to gods as you've said. These figures that I posted are giants, lighthouses in the ocean of darkness. Filled with traitors and wimps

Khalidah, none? What about facial hair?
