The reincarnation of David Browns best seller, leaves a lot to be wished for .. Most anticipated movie in history, doesn't deliver...
Also ... SPECIAL .... Secret middle east/Africa launch dates, You heard it right, and you saw it here first!
4/10 on the Sam scale

The movie starts at a crippled beginning, runs for maybe 5 minutes and then the long boring progression of events. Nothing major. Just as if you're flipping through the pages of the book without paying any attention to the details. Sad if you ask me
The producers eager to make a buck forgot what the story is all about. It's not much about the controversy, it's not much about the thriller part. the major Oohs and Aahs where the puzzles, the riddles the "why didn't I think of that"s. They didn't even bother having any sort of many pilots and worst yet, they GAVE AWAY the climax in the trailer, YES THEY DID! I thought they would have something else to keep us from the slow passing of time, but no, they stuck to literallythe book all the way until the end when they added a couple of changes that did appeal to me, and made it look like an Indian movie or the famous "Luke .. I'm you're father" . They passed by all the awesome symbolism, the amazing riddles ... the wonderful flashbacks .. in milliseconds ... and frankly I hate them so much for that... Another classic best seller converted to a commercial production
Anyway, the movie is the interpretation of the director and I think he failed to convey the thrill I had when reading the book. I finished it in 4 days without sleep... yes the novel is that good, the movie alas is not up to par.
Conclusions:
- The only nomination this movie is going to get is going to go to Dan Brown
- Read the book only AFTER watching the movie, to see how much was left out
