It's that time of year again, and believe it or not, almost a year ago we had our Third Blog for Jordan day and three years since the first Blog About Jordan day. Those were the most amazing events I ever had the honor in participating in. I couldn't have felt any more Jordanian Pride than those days. The amazing festive atmosphere where everyone participated with great enthusiasm, it was just exhilarating.
March is is the month of Blog for Jordan day. March 12th is next week and in the ocean of turmoil the region is sailing in, I am confident that apart from this event being so spectacular even more than the previous years, I believe it's going to be more relevant than ever.

Memories....
I've not been as active as the good old days. Work, life, family and a million other things took most of my time.
But I'm still around, and I'm happy to see you back. You were always among the best.
i have never thought that in Jordan and as Jordanian you are not allowed to work with Royal Jordanian if you are over 49 years or if you say bad things about the French.
in other country you can take the Management of the company to court for being discriminated against even you you were Jordanian.
it is too bad to be age discriminated in my own country, i was forced to early retirement to make Jordan a land of opportunity for foreigners, after all, it is my fault because i should have known better that being Jordanian in Jordan has no chance, and i should have Swiss, English or Lebanese passport (or wife) to get a job.
when a VP tells you that we need your experience but you are 49 and 8 months old, and the chairman needs a business plan to justify hiring you because of your age.
and when the Head of HR gives you an appointment at 11:00 AM, but meet with you at 12:00, and keep asking you about some french people, which has nothing to do with the whole interview.
i think the people i met that day were very incompetent, and when you see incompetents people in high position you stop wonder why the company lose money, it become clear to you that personal attitude over come professionalism.
this just a sample of what might a Jordanian face in pursuing of decent life.
