It hasn't been that long since Tunisian president fled the country, and now history appears to repeat itself. Larger, grander, and more in your face type with Egypt.

The difference is that not since George W Bush departure from power has a world leader been hated as much or asked to depart.

The reactions from the Arab and world streets amazes me. Specifically in Jordan, I mean, this is the same country that has half a million Egyptians being treated worse than slaves for the most part.

But somehow, people are out in force demonstrating against Mubarak, in Amman! As if the Jordanian citizen is liberated, free and has everything he could ever want in this life.

Or perhaps Jordanians are out demonstrating against Mubarak out of frustration for their own regime.

My friends keep telling me that Jordan is different, and that we will degenerate to a civil war based on origin, bascialy a Palestinian-Jordanian clash.

Dictatorships, Jordan included, thrive on fear. Fear of change. Fear of anarchy that might arise when there's a void in the central government. But Egypt has set an amazing template of 21st century type of peaceful revolutions. The PEOPLE are educated and mature enough to understand and focus on the main issue.

The problem is the regime! Nothing else, not the people, not the country, not the land, not the external forces, no the "enemy".

If you recall less than 20 years ago, Los Angeles went back to the dark ages as rioters ravaged the city. This is America we're talking about. Not 3rd world country in Africa. Millions are demonstrating right next to stores and priceless artifacts in museums. The PEOPLE are ensuring the safety of their OWN wealth and commerce... Beautiful!

That's my answer to anyone who would use the argument of degenerating masses anywhere...

Is it time for regional change? From Ocean to Sea!

Who can vote for next state to explode democratically? Syria? Jordan?

Most importantly, who's keeping an eye on the Rulers' money? Or should I say people's money that has been stolen by the rulers?
