To the idiot who proclaimed that teams are the best organizational unit in any high performance organization. With all due respect, you're an IDIOT!

Teams are crap! They don't work right half the time, and the politics behind keeping them together and functioning are a full time job on it's own!

Yes, SOME people might feel better in teams but for everyone else, it's hell!

From now on, the best business model is the military. That's it! You do as you're told or you're thrown in military jail!

Of course, I'm only kidding! But seriously, getting teams to just "work" is such a huge challenge that anything else appears to be so much better!

Oh well...

I hope u get engaged in a good team so u change yr "glasses" bwt teams.
Frankly I think they r a good organizational unit, one fatal problem is to assemble teams so quickly and/or just for the sake of it.

Teams r not magical solutions for everything, they ought to be approached with care and planning.

I dont mind working with a team, you get to joke and laugh once in a while with ur team members, have memories, if you want a vacation u can get one because there's someone who can help taking some of the load..

but honestly, i tried almost all options and i think im much better working by myself or as a supervisor..

miss you guys :)
