I know I am one of the people who is capable of forgiving, oh just about anything.

Perhaps it's due to long term memory loss, or a matter of me just keeping an eye on the bigger picture. Where, in the grand scheme of things, most conflicts can be resolved with time.

However, I have seen people who are simply incapable of forgiving. No matter how long it takes. Once you land on the other side of the fence, you have fallen out of grace for good!

I really don't want to pass any judgements here. To each person his own way of life. But for me personally. Not forgiving takes too much energy. Since I'm a lazy person, I don't like to waste my energy, even passively, hating.

I think forgiveness is liberating. While not-forgiving might have been our best evolutionary tool.

It's like going through this life in the spirit of the game instead of spiraling over something that appears so tiny and insignificant from the finish line. Or compared to the long line of life.

Forgiveness is just like love, some people are capable of it, some are not. Those who can't forgive, give away a piece of what makes them human, compassion

    Not 4givin` is a burden!
Although it might seem irrational but letting it go makes it easier.
No 1 needs the extra negative waves :).

Thanks for another gr8 post Qwaider.

I totally agree with you about "it's due to long term memory loss"
And loved your point of view in "Not forgiving takes too much energy. Since I'm a lazy person, I don't like to waste my energy" :)
I had my share of dealing with ugly-in-the-inside-people.. Some I did forgive.. Others I still can't..
