Who on earth quits a lucrative position in order to become a taxi driver is the question that I'd like answered? The next thing you know female cops will quit walking the beat in droves and return to where they belong, back home to be housewives and mothers like it used to be before 1975 in Iceland. If they're not married there are quite a few other jobs better suited for them.Men are the only ones suited to be police officers.I believe that there is a lot of misunderstanding in regard to letting women be in charge of citizens following the law of the land.God made the men to be protector of women, not vice versa.

You said a key word, "Lucrative" position. Pushing paper isn't that lucrative. Besides for many, Taxicab driver in Jordan does make a decent living.

I actually disagree on women cops. I do think they're needed, it will require 10 pages to explain why...

I know taxi man personally and have met him a few times, if he sees this he'll surely explain, he has changed a million jobs in order for him to be happy and comfortable. I doubt he ever quit a job for the money.

I see,you must be one of them Womens' Libbers, then.I am extremely concerned about how men have been brainwashed, they are totally blind to how controlled and manipulated they re by females at least in America and Iceland now,not when I grew up there in the 60's then women knew their place in society.I don't if it's just Southern Ohio,USA,but there the men seem to have been emasculated by females,I have done resource there and am extremely versed where this is concerned, there you got Woman Power to the extreme.

@Sha3rawi, ana kaman haik ba2ool! Jad, elli mish 3ajbo shoghl el makateb. Wallahi mafi a7la min inno "Ytakkes" fe Amman :D

    Kitty
I'm not a "libber" whatever that is. But I do find it important that women have the right to choose. Just like you chose to write your comment, don't you feel that it's your right to do so? Don't you think other women have the right to pick up the profession that suits them? Don't you feel that the society needs women in uniform to help the dwindling numbers of male police officers in this day and age? It's not a good thing to ask half the society to just stay home and make babies! I'm sorry if I disagree with you on this, but this is how I see it

Why what's wrong with being a housewife and a stay at home mom?It should be the ambition of every girl, like when I grew up in Iceland and everybody was happy, and there was hardly any divorce.

I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying it's a choice that the woman needs to make.
