    There are people you meet along the long journey of life, that feel like an epiphany. You start feeling, where have they been all your life. Why have they just showed up.

    You suffer a lot, and taste the bitterness offered to you by those who don't care, don't matter, and don't really make any difference. Other than the fact that with time, you learn to appreciate what you have been blessed with. Perhaps, a bit too late...

    I've lived my life, not regretting a thing. Every obstacle served as a wonderful lesson for me to heed. Every mistake was an experience.

    If there is one thing I've learned, it was to really appreciate what I have. How it got to be, and how far I had to go to get to it. Those are little things that make me, humble and grateful.

    I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said that the greatest reward, for this long lesson called "life" has been my dear wonderful wife.

    It has been said that along the long journey of life, the best thing to find and appreciate is good company. I guess, that can be generalized to any journey. There's no greater bliss on the face of this planet than a good wife (yeah, not even a good husband can come close)

    At the same time, there's no greater challenge, of the utmost difficulty than finding that once in a lifetime person. It's just the most difficult thing there is. For the reward is so great.

    I've looked around, searched high and low. Looked at my friends for help and insight, and learned from their mistakes and mine. The more searched, and researched. The more I got frustrated with the bleak results. No one is happy! Or let me rephrase, of the many many people I've come to know. Hardly anyone is happy. Or as happy as a fuzzy feeling left in your heart after watching an eye-tearing chick-flick. Or reading a romantic novel.

    Even the ones that faked happiness, and played an Oscar deserving role in front of everyone, had their share of things to hide. Mostly far from the happily-ever-after image that they projected to the world. Many believed the skin-deep image, I wasn't ever fooled or convinced. For some reason, it was as clear as day to me.

    All of this, and much much more caused one thing to settle in my heart (and mind), how difficult it is, no how impossible it is to find, "the one"...

    It took me many years before I finally found my gem. But I finally did, and after we've been so much I came to realize how amazing my gem was compared to everything that "sparkles" out there. I discovered how lucky I was, since many people didn't have a chance to know how great a good wife can be. How wonderful this world is, with her shining through it. How pretty the future is with her in it.

    She made me a believer, for I have been blessed

    The perfect wife is as impossible as a myth. Trust me on that one. But if you search really hard, you will might find one of the very few. They're so precious and rare.

    It's sad that many of these gems go through life, unnoticed, and unappreciated, but that's a whole other subject for a different time...

    Search well my fellow men, for that perfect woman is out there.

    Thank god, I found mine.

    Happy Valentine's day my love

    @Sorry,
    Why are you sorry? :)
    To tell you the truth, between the two of us, I think I'm the lucky one. There are many great guys out there, but the likes of her are very few.
