There are things that are just simply stronger than others...

Life is stronger than death, even though both are facts of life. But a new life proved to be stronger than a recent death. That's what kept blinking in my mind as I saw the dramatic effect my daughter had on everyone who was devastated by the loss of my father in law.

She was their morphine, she calmed everyone down. Her aura just lit up the whole place. Just for being there!

The death of a close relative is a fact of life, we will all suffer from it. As much as we hate to even remotely think about it. It does, and most certainly will happen. Most of the time when we're least expecting

But somehow life throws us other distractions that help us through the pain. We will never forget, but the pain eventually subsides.

At the end you thank god for the wonderful family and friend who stood by you and helped in any way they could.

Life proves once again how much stronger it is than death.

Similarly, love is stronger than hate. Hope is stronger than despair and faith is stronger than ... oh well just about everything else...

Oh, this is what I had been praying for you, Mira's arrival was God's gift to your family, bringing comfort in this immeasurable loss. Even God bringing the two of your together so Mai would have a shoulder to lean on. Losing parents is something you never fully get over,but the next generation lessons the pain and actually enhances the memory as you see their DNA lived on in your kids.

Thanks for posting, you have not been forgotten.
