Google Confirms Employees Have 'Google Phone'

Google confirmed Saturday that their internal developers are using an unreleased Android based phone, as contradictory rumors about a "Google Phone" flew back and forth across the Internet.

On an official Google blog, vice president of product management Mario Queroz said that Google employees are using "a device that combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android," but that this phone is "exclusively for Google employees," not for consumers.

Unlike other brain-farts, this one is actually pretty darn good!

Now here's the thing. I've NEVER heard ANY company handing out their employees an $800 phone, just to "test it out". I mean NOT EVEN Telecom comanies do this for free!

I gotta give it to Google, when it comes to "benifits" they really set the bar so high, no one comes close. I wonder, what does Apple, Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, IBM, Dell, AT&T, Verizon and HP give to their Emplyees for free?

Google, HIRE ME!

Google employees said, it was free since they're eating "dog food" as in, trying out their own unreleased product
But again, if an employee ends up paying $20 for an $800 phone, that's practically free, no?
