You should never accept or believe that people will underachieve just because they're poor

You should never treat people differently, or have pity on them because of where they live.

You should never think that someone is "lesser" because they're less educated or they were raised differently

Most importantly, if you have tendencies to think in this way, DON'T ADMIT IT.

Because that, my friend, is the definition of racism.

People are equal, and can achieve the same things given the same opportunity. Not only that, but underprivileged people have demonstrated that they can do more with less. They achieve way more than more fortunate siblings.

Think of that the next time you talk about East Amman, or smaller cities and villages. Many of these underprivileged people are more talented and have greater potential than all the people in western Amman combined.

Poot prople don't have less creativity, or leadership because they're poor, how sad it is that some could even think in that way!!

It's not elitist to speak poorly of these people, even if it was out of pity or rich people's sympathy

... it's freakin racist!

I know I'm being a little picky, but it sounds like your talking about discrimination/prejudice, not racism.

Thank you Chris, both are negative terms, I tried to look up both and found that the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines racism as a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority or inferiority of a particular racial group, and that it is also the prejudice based on such a belief

According to the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination,

the term "racial discrimination" shall mean any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life.

So I guess, they're the same. You might be more accurate in the usage, so thanks again

I agree, poor ppl r more effective than rich ones, since they come up with something from nothing, but sometimes i wonder, what will be the outcomes if those were rich??would they be better?or worse?? but again..Allah gives something, and takes another..and hence, we do not know the answer for that question
