Game shows are fun! Just look at the phenomenal success of something as stupid as Deal or no deal, (no offense to fans) and you will know how luring these shows are.

All you need is a lot of glitter, dramatic music, contestants and the most important thing, prizes! And you have your own amazing show.

Now, how would you feel if you were able to PLAY from the comfort of your own living room in a LIVE SHOW that shows your name, you wackiest dance moves and has your friend from all over the world looking at you?

Welcome to online gaming 2.0, welcome to 1vs100! It's real, it's live, it's in your living room and guess what, people are already proposing to their girlfriends through it!

I have to admit, getting my better half to play something on the xbox is rather like pulling teeth. It's not that easy, and the gory live motion-sickness-inducing-blurred-action games with tons of violence and body parts isn't the idea of a great evening well spent.

But the minute I turned on 1vs100 on Xbox 360. I saw her eyes light up and we both seriously wanted to play. We spent HOURS trying to beat "the one" after that!

The game is simple, general knowledge questions that give you points. These points qualify you to be "The one" or "The Mob". The one and the mob play to get the most correct answers in a raw. However, "The one" has 3 life lines, while the mob can either answer right, or get kicked out. (They can still continue to play for points)

The more The one knocks out, the more money he gets, the more he loses, the more the Mob gets.

Simple? Yes, addictive? You bet! It's one of the BEST games I've seen in a very long time. Nothing major, no awe inspiring graphics, no number crunching processing. Nothing but good old fashioned fun.

People are really raving over this, check out this one guy who actually proposed on Xbox Live 1vs100

Here's why this is sooooooooooooo Smart, companies are advertising their products LIVE to people playing these games. One night there was close to 60,000 people playing, and watching Honda commercials, Axe commercials and of course, Sprint One network. Last night, they showed Transformers 2 trailer. So there're a LOT of highly motivated players jumping in on the new Advertising platform. Honda is giving away A CAR.

1vs100 on XBOX live is a Hit! At least in my book! Even in beta so many people are playing it. Just imagine when it gets released and people start winning.

I need to buy an X-box.
Qwaider have you tried the PS3 ? If you did, which one reigns supreme ? PS3 or Xbox 360 ?

I used PS3 briefly, and I have to say, it's pretty good. The graphics are fantastic and the game smoothness, responsiveness and playability are on par with XBOX 360. In many ways, you can forget which console you're playing for the same game.
One area where PS3 is better is BluRay DVDs It can play blu-ray and get the full potential out of your HDTV. XBOX360 doesn't have blueray. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy games with 1080P or even downloadable content at that rate. If your internet connection is fast enough of course. (Mine runs at 1080P all the time, but I guess it does some form of upscaling to display it)
One area where XBOX shines many folds over PS3 is XBOX live. By far it's the best online gaming experience you can ever imagine. It's even integrated with Live messenger and your facebook account. Now that's something (it automatically updates your online status to show what you're playing and your latest achievements so that you can share it with your friends)
Xbox live allows XBOX360 to get updated on the fly with the latest software. You can download countless game demos and play them for free or buy some games (like the Apple App store only this one is for games)

And the best feature of 360 that is not on PS3 is ... NETFLIX! Now that is one heck of a feature. You can watch UNLIMITED movies per month for only $8.

Price wise for the thrifty shopper, XBOX is way cheaper than PS3, it pretty much has the same performance and has tons of fantastic games some exclusive but top sellers like Halo.
