When you don't care!

Oh god, have mercy. The more I know how people just worship drama and enjoy mixing it with tragedy, the more I feel sorry for my self for really caring in the first place about so many things.

I'm not ranting about something or someone, I'm just mad at my self for falling for these reverse psychological traps. Sadly, I never learn, I just keep hoping that my policy is the best approach, only to discover that it is not!

Here's the problem, there are things that I really DO NOT CARE ABOUT, not even REMOTELY. I'm not really sure why people insist on making me feel guilty for not caring that much about some of these things!

I don't know, perhaps I grew older, and more important things like career, family, and future started taking priority over many of the older not-so-interesting events of the world.

It might also be that something is truly unworthy of my attention. In fact, paying attention, might take away from few functioning brain cells I have left. I'm not getting any younger you know!

I don't know why, but I know one thing, people make you feel like crap for your disinterest, even if it was warranted.

Oh god, I just look back and feel so ashamed of all the people I bored with my childish acts, and achievements way back when...

I guess,"Fate, It Seems, Is Not Without Its Sense Of Irony"*, since some are doing onto me what I have done to onto others in the past. Although, I was way more courteous and didn't really send people on guilt trips for their "disinterest"

Eh, if you feel guilty about not caring, then you MUST care at some level. ;-))) how's THAT for making you crazy?

The whole guilt thing is why I keep a safe distance from my family. They thrive on it. I don't.
