Huh? Did you get it?

And now the Answer. FIRE YOUR MARKETTING DEPARTMENT

What THE HELL WAS THAT COMMERCIAL ABOUT?

I'm a computer professional that makes a living out of computers. I HAD NO CLUE what this commercial is about! I didn't get it. I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT!

I don't want to consider myself the bar by which to you can measure other people's computer aptitude. BUT I KNOW a thing or two about computers... And I swear! I HAD NO CLUE what this is about!

Microsoft, If you want to beat Apple, Linux and Google. Fire your marketing department! Let me rephrase that. If you want to SURVIVE, fire the stupid people who come up with your stupid irrelevant ads that waste your money.

Then, fire ALL YOUR WINDOWS MOBILE division who STILL don't have a viable Arabic windows Mobile phone, or a decent web browser (While iPhone already enjoying such stuff). But hey, I can send spread sheets to my MOTHER on my WinMO "smart" phone. Doh!

That was my rant for the day... Pheww ... feel much better now.

(now, I'm sure some smart pants is going to spend 35 minutes on Wikipedia dissecting the commercial to understand it and them come back to tell me how much it makes sense. Trust me IT DOES NOT, especially I was trying to enjoy an episode of "How the earth was made" talking about the geology of the Alps, yeah, I enjoy such stuff)

Yes .. that commercial is very vague and general.
I agree that Microsoft should do a better job in marketing. Seriously.

As for "How the earth was made" .. i enjoyed that series .. i actually watched it in one shot .. i don't know if there are any new episodes of this though, if so please let me know.

Yeah i used to watch "The Universe" as well, however i stopped after a few ridiculous episodes :-D .. "Sex in space" .. come on :-P .. i think i complained to you about this before :)

I never imagined the day you'll wake up. Now, compare this ad to that of Apple's Megan. MS got nothin' on Apple.
