Pregnancy myth #1: Stretch marks!

Oh stretch marks are real. But the myth is...

Use some creams and you can delay or stop stretch marks.

Fact:...

Stretch marks develop from the INSIDE out, not on the external skin. So Coco butter, Vitamin E enriched massage oil. Coconut Milk and all other gimmicks do NOTHING but make your external skin pretty moisturized. But do NOTHING to stop stretch marks.

What CAN help is a high protein diet. Yep, MEAT. Red meat, White Meat, Fish. Up to 150 grams of protein a day for pregnant women. So yeah ... Don't want stretch marks, eat meat.

Vitamin C helps. Orange, Grape, Kiwi, even green peppers.

It helps to be skeptic of all those pregnancy myths. MOST are crap!

Here's an advice you should take to heart. Whatever happened with ANYONE ELSE, is most likely NOT going to happen to you.

LOL Qwaider, you are living in my world now!!! When you aren't saving it, anyway. :) I'll have to send you an article I wrote about pregnancy.

I didn't get any stretch marks, but the stretched out tummy never did get back to normal. I see both as the marks of the motherhood, mine makes for cozier cuddles the kounouz say.

People who will get stretch marks, will get them. And people who don't, will not. But it's not due to a special cream. It's a bodily attribute and not all women (unfortunately) are blessed with it.

Did you eat a lot of protein?

اولا مبروك وان شاء الله تقوم بالسلامه والمولود يكون بصحه وعافيه والعلامات اللي بتحكي عنها بتروح بعد الولاده مش محتاجه كريمات

الحقيقة، حسب نوعية جسم السيدة، بعضها يزول تماما، و بعضها لا يزول، و بعض النساء لا يصابون بهذه العلامات من اصله. و هي بالفعل لا تحتاج لكريمات لأنها جميعها لا تفعل شيء غير ترطيب البشرة من الخارج، في حين ان هذه العلامات تبدأ اصلا من الداخل.

That's a common misconception fueled by manufacturers to confuse women into believing such stuff. According to our OBGYN, none of these work. However, having a high protein diet does. I would really take his advice. I searched online and companies selling products polluted all the results with their "miracle" creams that take away all the stretch marks.
I wonder who benefits from all these misconceptions. I'm sure some cream companies are behind that. Since they get to sell more

I completely agree with this. If you're noticing stretch marks on your body, you're not alone. Most girls and women have stretch marks, which tend to show up on the breasts, thighs, hips, and butt. Many women get them during pregnancy. And while they're more common in girls, guys can get stretch marks, too.
