The little kid inside me refuses to acknowledge certain lessons in this life, and just refuses at times believe that this is how the world is. But, some good quality time I spent with a very interesting high ranking official made drove it home for me.

I must have herd these words a million times before, and possibly you have as well. But the number of times doesn't really matter as much as actually listening. Understanding and applying what we hear from others.

There are people that will never like you. EVER! It doesn't matter if you're the best person on the face of the planet. These people will just never like you. The consequence of that is also pretty simple, but it's equally as important, so learn this. Don't try to please everyone for you will most certainly fail. Don't waste your time trying. It will just not happen.

Does it matter if someone doesn't like you a yard or a mile? Does it matter?

There are people who position themselves as rivals. Not competitors (those who are generally good sport, but could be the fiercest in the competition, but revert to being nice elsewhere). Those rivals just never quit. They're consumed by hatred and jealousy if you succeed and they're filled with gloat and self gratification if you lose.

Not surprisingly, these same people who are your biggest obstacle and damper. They're your head wind, your ditch, stone and puddle in your run. They don't want to help, they hate to see you succeed and they would anything and everything in their power to see you fail.

Sadly, they get nothing out of all of this.

If you're one of those, and you happen to be reading. Know this. You're SICK! You should get professional therapy. And you need to understand that it's not ok or normal to feel like that. You should seek some professional help and understand that you need help.

However, if your big inner child tells you that there is a way in this world to get everyone to love you. Then, dream on, I hate to be the one taking such a lovely dream away from you.

you are right with that, we shouldn't try to please everyone we will end up just making ourselves more tired

I am what I am, take it or leave it. That's how I've always lived my life and how everyone should. Some people can't live if there's someone around them who doesn't love them, and they end up making it their life mission to be loved by everyone. I tell those people to go get a fucking life! Go be yourself and to hell with everyone else.

Some truths take longer to sink in than others. I think we were brought up thinking if you are polite, do the right thing and aren't mean to anyone, everyone will love you. That other people's love and acceptance are a good thing. We grow up and learn otherwise.

we hate ppl and ppl hate us 4 no reasons sometimes, i used to try to please others before, but now i do not even care about it, no need for that from the start

I used to be like this, specially if there is no reason for hating me.
I used to became very sensitive if someone didn't like me,and try to do my best to fix it out.

But now I'm cured, I JUST DON'T CARE :)

If someone has a problem with me, it's their problem, not mine. Sometimes I have to rub their nose in it to remind them of that. ;-) I like torturing people just by my mere presence. It causes them pain and suffering with absolutely no expenditure of effort.
