On your side, doesn't constitute an emergency on mine!

I'm completely perplexed by the way some people work. It's so stupid and counter productive to wait until the key person on a project steps out to start a fire-drill that only that person can fix.

I am really surprised how some people think, or work!

It's extremely annoying when you try to enjoy some quite off time with your family, friends, or while on vacation. When someone who failed to plan, or be prepared screws something up and end up making it an emergency for you. Because you happen to be unfortunate enough to pick up the damn phone!

I don't recall that I have ever called someone during their vacation or interrupted their evening. I treat that "off time" as a taboo that should never be crossed. Well, only in extreme emergency. Which many people appear to categorise incorrectly most of the time.

I wish I could just ignore things when I'm away. Just, unplug and forget about things...

But I can't!

am actually worried about the project I am in now that i won't be working on it anymore... it feels horrible to leave all my sweat of the past 8 months in the hands of incompetent planners
