It's beautiful how people seek every opportunity to brag about Democracy and to attack Islam as being "Anti-democratic" yet at every democratic display (as in anti-Israeli demonstrations) they start talking about "Civilized" forms of protesting.
Forgetting, or conveniently omitting the fact that demonstrations are actually a form of democracy. A form of demanding change. A human right. A form of expression that is protected under the Geneva conventions, and a simple human right.
But of course, we know that such people are really not proponents of Democracy or anything. They're just full of hot air!
This hypocritical position can hardly be explained. Such people might be politically challenged and unaware of the whole political process. Young, naive, and ignorant. That's the only possible excuse for such poor judgement.
Recently, in Sweden, in the city of Malmo. Demonstrators protested the presence of the Israeli tennis team and greeted them with shoes and anti-Zionist chanting. Apparently, there are a lot of great people in Sweden who know how to side with the victims.
To those amazing people, a Huge salute. And for the little idiots, shut up and learn some history. You're exposing your idiocy more and more every day.
Thousands showed up, not to spectate at the tennis event. But to demonstrate against the atrocities that Israel has committed and continue to commit against the Palestinian people.
So without any further ado, to detect fake democracy advocates.... All you don't have to look that far, just look around, and you'll find them in ship loads. They're pro democracy as long as it converges with their best interest, or ulterior motives of smearing Islam, or Religion for example. But when it's against what them. It becomes riots and "uncivilized" demonstrations
Easiest litmus test ever!
Memories....
If a demonstration was taking place with the visit of Israel's PM I could definitely understand, but if there is a demonstration at a tennis match there might be as well a demonstration at every single Israeli "transaction" taking place.
Or am I missing a point/misunderstanding something?
One person, one vote! Don't come to Europe if you can't make friends in the Middle East: we don't want you here either.
Myself, I think democracy is best lubricated with high-volume water cannons.
I wrote lately also about those who do not know how to protest and start chanting "خيبر خيبر يا يهود " missing with that the real point of protesting. someone chanting this needs a lesson in religion.
I do not find him as a fake democracy advocate just because of his opinion here, he may be, but not because of this.
First of all, the demonstrators didn't even have a majority of Arabs.
Second, not all demonstrations are violent and call for death and destruction. Most are demanding to be heard in the most democratic way
Third, why is it when a demonstration is against Israel people like Nizar start preaching us on "Civility" but when demonstrators and rioters ransack through the streets of cities all over the world. We don't even bother talking about it?
For me, Nizar is the epitome of ignorance, political hypocrisy, and bias AGAINST everything that is Arab, Islamic or Palestinian. It only takes a human to realize how to side with victims and not aggressors.
