I received many whispers, emails and private instant messages from my friends who urged me to explain my position on other religions (no not from Kinzi so stop asking)

Anyway, I would like to assure everyone that I have utmost respect to all religions, and lack of. However, and on an equal level of candor, I view my personal beliefs to be superior to all others. I think there's nothing wrong here. If I thought Hinduism is the answer I would have followed it

Also for the couple who keep telling me that I'm a Muslim because I was born and raised Muslim. Again, I make most of my choices without any interference. In fact, I disagree with more religious people than I disagree with atheists. (And my local Muslim friends can vouch for that). I was even kicked out of the Muslim alias because of my views. But that doesn't define who I am or dictates my response. It doesn't shake my faith because, and this is important, it's based on other people's actions.

So, if you're from any other religion (or lack of) and thought that you're offended with my "Arrogance" in considering Islam as the only true religion. I'm sorry, but I can't lie to you and myself, that's my PERSONAL view on the matter, and I'm sure everyone else has their own personal view on this matter.

If all agreed, you wouldn't be reading this! And therefore, I have nothing to appologize for, wise people already know this. But I thought the need is there for me to explain this

But as I said, I respect everyone's choice. At least this one can't be blamed on genetics.

We all have personal views and belief and people should just live their own life.

This is going to be endless.. it's exactly what I have been trying to say, that everyone is right in their own frame of mind. We all have our own perception of reality.

It's this fighting over who's reality is more real that further divides us AWAY from the "Truth". Embracing the differences is what makes life clearer!

    That's my opinion anyway! :D

Well said, Qwaider. (lol your note re: me)

It amazes me how many local people here think I am a 'pre-Muslim' because I like and respect Muslim folks and live in a Muslim culture. I have to explain, as you do, that my faith was one of choice, not of birth.

It seems one can't understand that believing in absolutes doesn't keep one from enjoying people with a different set of absolutes.

    Hi Qwaider, How are you?
I think that supposing that your religion is the best is equal to saying that you know better than the one who made those religions (talking about the three religions only).
when someone creates different people and send them different messages then he knows best.
Maybe you will think now that the last one is the one to take over all the previous ones. Well, I dont like this idea because God have sent the last one in one language, which can not convince me with anything but that its for the ones who speak this language.
I do not like the idea that every messenger was sent to every body, it doesn't suit many facts. why would Mohammad be different?
I think you can say that your religion is the best for you,,,not the best for everybody, unless you think you know better.
    :) regards

    Hi MD

One of the concepts which makes Islam unique is to get people from all races together, there is no way that this can be done without speaking the same language.

As an Arab-Muslim immigrant living in the west, I had to learn a new language, new style of life, concepts and traditions to be able to work and survive. I had to do this because I chose to join that particular society. Islam is no different. You need to work hard for it.

If you want to travel, do business or go international, can you do it without learning English these days? Is it a too much request to learn a new language to communicate with your God and people?
Without it, prayers will be based on languages and race, which is the case in any other religion. Fortunately, we can practice our religion anywhere with any Muslim from any race.

I have met lots of non-Arab Muslims, I never heard anyone complaining about the “single language” barrier, and yet these people understand the religion better than I do and they don’t understand a single word of Arabic, simply because you can fully understand Islam in your mother language.

And by the way, none of the religions were sent to people in different languages, it’s only lately that people managed to translate it to MODERN languages, because probably lots of languages did not even exist back then!!!

At the end if we don't speak the same language, how could we have communicated through this blog anyway?

    Yeah, I know!

    Completely agree with you
    KJ
Absolutely, we all have our own. And no matter what we do, we are in love with our own perspective. Or we wouldn’t have it in the first place
    And I respect your opinion
    Secratea
    Yep!
    Kinzi
Exactly, if someone is following something as a matter of inheritance. It’s their choice but there are many who really believe what they believe out of faith and conviction.
And yes, absolutes suck. Especially those of others 
    MD
Hi there, long time. I’ve been good, how’ve you been?
You know, for someone to think that someone else’s religion/faith/philosophy is better and still not use it, apply it, or follow it is sheer stubbornness. We believe (and follow) what we believe because deep inside we feel that it’s superior to others and, yes we all believe that we know better. Maybe not for other people, but for our own.
As a Muslim, it’s my obligation to believe and respect all previous “messages”. Not only that but to understand them, protect them and support them. This doesn’t mean that I still find my faith to be superior. (Nor will it stop a Jew for example from feeling superior to others) but he’s not obligated by his religion to actually believe me or anything.
I’m not in the business of projecting my own beliefs onto others. There are people who take on that role. Mine is usually explaining and progressing what we have. Since there is a lot of confusion about it everywhere.
I never said that my religion, beliefs or philosophy is good for everyone. But you see, I’m not in that position. I’m in the position trying to explain why it’s really inconclusive what some people promote about religions in general.
Without being apologetic about my position because if you really look deep into it. It’s everyone’s position regarding their thoughts as well.

Anyway good to hear from you again
    Mustafa
Hi there my friend. It’s been forever since I’ve last heard from you or the family. My deepest regards to everyone. Hope all is great on your side.
