People living away from home know what I'm talking about. As special occasions like the Eid come and go without even registering a single special memory.

I look back at your life, and think, is it even worth it?

Eid mubarak everyone ... Happy Holidays..

Those are the words that I wish I could say as I hug my parent and lay my head, and all my worries on their loving and inviting shoulders.

Another eid passes by, one less eid, many less memories, many priceless moments never lived, gone to no return.

Is it worth it? Is anything in the world worth it?

Sometimes I doubt that anything is worth it

As i know that nothing EVER compensates for parents' presence, especially during holidays, the brighter side about this Eid Adha is that despite the "lesses" you've listed, you have really gained a lovely, and sweet wife who is by your side this Eid!

YES. The ex-pat dilemma. Maybe next year you two could take vacation time over Eid to come to Jordan, since it would seem people vie for Christmas off?

I was thinking like Sec on this one, especially praying (that 'surprise' one) for you and Mai and your first Eid together. :)

as for your question, NO..it is not worth it at all..bas at this time, my life like many others is run by circumstances w zourouf.. Allah yefrejha 3al jamee3 wel 3eid is when we can be home, living a normal, stable life..Inshallah soon :)

esra7a nth worth being with family especially on EID more than any other day .. i can totally understand what do u mean by " EID less" phrase but thats life .. its not always fair :( what u have 2 do now is 2 make new memories fIlled with luv and joy with yr small family in order to remember it ever and after :)
