My good friend, L (a female) is a cute little girl in her early twenties and like everyone else on the face of this planet. She's looking for love, romance and Mr right. (Or Miss Right for the gentlemen out there)

But her approach to it is a little bit puzzling to me, as she claims that she's "unsure" if Mr Right is actually Mr right, so what does the nice well mannered lady do? She picks up a Mr Backup!

Now Mr Backup isn't as great as Mr Right. But he's close enough. The reasoning behind the existence of Mr Backup is: What if something happened with Mr Right? A girl needs backup. Just in case!

Mr Backup thinks he's Mr Right by the way. He's hanging by a thread. He thinks he has a chance with the lady. Works really hard at it, and feels hopeful. Thanks mostly to some double meaning, obscure but continuous subtle suggestive acknowledgements from L. I wonder why men stop getting "subtle-hints" after they get married! But that's for another day...!

The story gets more exciting and complicated when Mr Backup-Backup shows up...

Mr Backup-Backup is similar to Mr Backup, hanging by a thread. He's not officially anything. Yet, from time to time... He gets some positive reinforcements that he's on the short list, and if "luck" or "hope" served him well. He will be "promoted" to Mr Right.

The logic behind L's actions is perfect. There's nothing wrong with having contingency plans, just in case the worst happened. But it got way more interesting when L discovered that Mr Backup-Backup was "cheating" on her with a lady he recently met at work and that he was planning on "Dumping" her!

L showed up, with messed up make up, upset, crying and cursing all men as cheating bastards, pigs, dogs and users. Mr Backup-Backup tried desperately to convince L that he just met that girl, and nothing was going on. They went out on a company lunch with everyone in the team. And that's what was in the email the "other girl" sent. She was just being thankful as she had a great time.

Unconvinced, L made him suffer. REALLY for his mistake. Only to accept his apologies and gifts as he tried desperately to win her back. Mr Backup-Backup was finally granted forgiveness. But NOT a promotion.

Turns out, this is L's way to complete her control over Mr Backup-Backup. So that he still thinks that this jealousy is a pretext for love.

It is worth mentioning that Mr Right, Mr Backup, and Mr Backup-Backup don't know about the existence of others. Although, Mr Right knows he's Mr Right.

L continues to accept gifts, favors, support and loyalty of all three men. And feels ready and secure for her mid twenties. After all, she's been working really hard to get where she is now.

I had a fight with one of our friends. I wanted to tell the guys, but apparently, it's none-of-my-business! I wonder what would girls do, if their girlfriends were Miss-Backup-Backup!!

A few back a guy asked for my hand that I was just SURE I didn't need. When I confronted my family with the official refusal they were all very surprised because well he really did seem "mr.right".
But anyway, my brother pulled me aside and gave me the play a cards game with him and keep him as a joker in your deck O_O which supports L's theory which I don't support. Refusing him now isn't going to change anything 2 years down the road unless am being materialistic.

I don't blame her for what shes doing its her personal choice but why cry about backup backup when she knows best his position to her. so unfair.

oh my god your (L) freind is crazy people aren't objects to make a back up this is not how you treat any human being or even animal. Sadly I know girls like that and it sickens me to be friends with them...

Who is she? can you smack her on the head for me please!!

And she deserves any kind of mis-treatment form any of those men of hers and tell her payback is a pain ain't it!!!

MAN yis3ed rabbbaaak!!! I am printing this of but changing the he's to she's and vice versa and i am giving it to a male friend because this is what hes doing..... shit you actually made me think where I stand in his line!!!! hahaha!!! i think I might just be an observer/commenter!!!
That's just so dishonest, but nowadays who isn't. Thank God I'm male.
Im shocked how all three of them do not know about each other.. and is she that bored to have 3.. when I have one I feel that my whole day and schedule is messed up..
Well I would tell the girl depending on how close she is to me.. if she is one of my best friends I would never hesitate, but if it was only an acquaintanance then I would think twice about it.. usually in this case peopel shoot the messanger!!
