Dang!

I'm surrounded by deeply entrenched McCain supporters over here! This was one of the questions that they ambushed me with. "What will Obama do for you?"

As the vocal onslaught progressed between the McCain supporters and the SINGLE Obama supporter. I thought it's a good idea to withdraw for now ... but the question lingered!

Obama Tear

I might not have the ability to vote for the president *yet*, but that doesn't mean I haven't already made up my mind on who I would have voted for.

And I would vote for Obama, (now or if I had all my citizenship stuff in order) because:

  1. I find him more internationally presentable. He has the capacity to accept and understand diversity

I stood there thinking, of all the issues that Obama has on his agenda (The economy, taxes, gay rights, ...etc)

That was the only thing I could feel that would affect me, or Obama would do for me

So I in turn as you....

What will Obama do for you?

esma3! khaleek samed! lol ! wlak bedon maya3mel shee 7AYFOOOOZ!
I know what he will NOT do:

- Won't start a war with Iran
- Unlikely to start any war with a country without trying every other alternative option first
- Would not surround himself with religious freaks who consider the unreligious as less of good citizens and less American than anyone else
- Would not appoint incredibly dumb and stupid and ignorant people like Sarah Palin in criticial positions (like uhm vice president)

Most people are voting for Obama for the things that he will not do. Besides, he's very smart, that something that everyone agrees upon, this guy is genius and extremely well-organized, something that America has not seen in 8 years.
Way to go dr Hareega.
I would vote for him because:

#1: Of the current candidates he has the most potential to push the middle east peace process forward. Much much better than McCain.

#2: Democrats allocate more money for research in universities and care more about science. This means that would make my life easier in grad school as research budgets were cut during the Bush years.

#3: He does not surround himself who seem to issue racist slurs about Arabs/Muslims. I still can't believe the outrages slurs that the McCain/Palin and GOP surrogates have spewed.
Oh also .. i would vote for him because he and his surroundings seem to be less negative and hateful
It was an easy decision for me although I'm not American either.

Mccain said that the only thing to discuss about Iraq as far as he's concerned is the surge. (i.e. how many more troops to send)

Palin on the other hand said that the troops in Iraq are on a mission from God and that they're executing God's plan. That's the voice of fanaticism if I ever heard it.

Obama on the other hand is considering leaving a any reasonable person would.

Enough said.

well, according to my son, almost 7 now, he wants to vote, if he can, to obama...cuz according to him, he will lower our taxes and mommy and daddy wont have to pay so much bills as in taxes...that is fair enough for me....he is so much into election...
but really, mccain is half way to leave us...why would i vote for him, then comes that diva and rules while she cannot even figure out what VP is supposed to do...miss excutive experience....
now supporters of mccain, as i know of some, either very rich ppl, who would have to suffer of higher taxes, or simply racist...so far...
but eventually all r the same, who ever sits on that chair will go by the agenda of what is already there for years...so no hopes up...

At least he could tell the difference between Iran and Iraq and point them on the map. That alone set him on a higher level than 70% of the americans
well if i were american i would vote for obama, just to tease those who vote for McCain for their "white" racist views, my god i couldn't believe that such people still exist, those who strongly believe that they are privileged for being born with a bleachy skin! how pathetic!
but i'm not american, and if i had a voice, i would vote for neither, cause neither is gonna help ME or my people, both are my enemies, because simply both are friends of my enemy, im a no-peace supporter by the way, because my enemy is a no-peace supporter too, regardless of how good they try to come across
