I'm so excited to be reviewing two interesting movies this week. "Scanner Darkly" and "Little miss Sunshine"

    scannerposterSunshineposter

On Wednesday, I'm going to go have a sneak peak at the very interesting movie "Scanner Darkly", Thursday, "little miss sunshine" I'm so excited about these two

    Scanner Darkly:

    scanner

    Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder

This is one amazing rendering of the A story by Philip K Dick warning about drug abuse.

The stage is set in Orange county, where America has lost the war on drugs. Where an undercover cop journeys to a fantasy mission to spy on his friends.

What's very interesting about this movie is that it's filming technique relies on "Interpolated rotoscoping" where live action is overlaid with computer animation to generate haunting, highly stylized, comic like look to the characters. Check the images to better illustrate this technique

    winona

    Little Miss Sunshine:

    little

Steve Carell (40 year old virgin), Greg Kinnear, Toni Collette

This is the story of the Hoovers, the most dysfunctional family in the movie industry. Talking about how a family travels from Albuquerque New Mexico to Redondo Beach California to fulfill the dreams of their 7 year old Olive. A little cute girl with big dreams. The family has to deal with so much problems on the way, where they learn to love, trust and support each other during hardships

I've always wanted to see a interpolated rotoscoped Winona Ryder.
No Bakkouz, but since it's among one of my many hobbies. I found a way :D
In fact one of the very well known movie Guru's in Seattle (Warren Etheredge) Has established a little club for movie enthusiasts where we get to have advanced screenings. We sometimes even get to to decide on some parts of the movie (They would have multiple alternate endings and we get to select the best one)
    Anyway, It's really fun :D

Dave, wait till you see her in a steamy love scene Cool
    lucky you :) interesting..
Well Wonderful Jansait, When you come over ... I promise to take you to the movies with me :D how about that?

and maybe too far from LA, cuz my friend is in LA and uncel in frezno..
Yeah, it's no joke here... things are REALLY far, not like going to Aqaba!
Hey, you got a Seattle pic without Rain!
It rains and shines here. But nothing as great as California of course.
Weather here is great, never too hot, never too cold. Annual precipitation same as San Francisco. No sever winds, no blizzards or white outs... I love it ;)

Ha, Jano.  I was born and raised in California and lived for a couple years in Washington State.  The distance between Seattle, Washington and Fresno, California is about 757 miles (1,219 kilometers, the distance from Amman to Istanbul or Mecca).  It's even farther to Los Angeles: about 958 miles (1,542 kilometers).
